I am rejecting this response because: It took additional requests to get our trailer fixedFor the first week we were told there was no leak, they did everything (run a water hose over the top) to look for a leak and couldn't find oneI refused to pick up the trailer till the leak was found and fixedA few days later a leak was found fixed and repairedWhat exactly does your "leak warranty" cover? That you will fix the leak if there is oneWhat is the point of having a trailer if I cant trust my stuff to be inside of itThat is like purchasing car insurance on my car and the insurance company tells me they guarantee the tires will never fail me.....but only if I don't drive it. We bought this brand new trailer for its great company reviews and the understanding with the reassurance our things would be protected....Sadly they were notAs for your "rope tire" they were not at the request of us. We asked how much they were (because we wanted to know how much your company was trying to compensate us for; which turned out to be a very minimal amount ($each) compared to the damage) and the associate at TrailersPlus Lodi INSISTED we take them for freeMy request remains the same and I ask that my damaged items be "fixed" due to your faulty trailer and your lack of leak proof guarantee

I am rejecting this response because We will take our requests for reimbursement of damaged items from leaking trailer to small claims and the local news station

emailed a copy of the Limited Warranty where it explains " Under no circumstances shall INTERSTATE GROUP LLC. be liable to purchaser or any other person for any special, incidental or consequential damages". [redacted] (the customer) seemed to understand what was in the Warranty. We did reiterate to him that we could help them out with some tie downs, E-Track or something reasonable along that line at the time of pick up. The trailer was repaired and tested again for leaks. The customer was provided (4) rope ties at their request at the time that the repaired trailer was picked up.This Warranty was reported to us on 12/18/14 with reference # W[redacted] assigned to the issue. The Warranty report was closed on 1/09/15 when the repaired trailer was picked up from the lot.Thanks again [redacted], please let me know if you need anything else from me.  [redacted]

We have reviewed this issue with our Ownership Group and determined that we have accurately honored our warranty by repairing the roof leak to factory standards. We are still willing to work with the customer on additional parts and reasonable labor to further assist them with their desired use. Interstate / TrailersPlus will not be offering any further reimbursement to the customer.Unlike many Dealers in this Industry that will not warranty or repair a trailer if it leaks, we actually do.  We fixed the leak in the trailer and honored our warranty our advertising is 100% accurate.Interstate did explained to the customer on 12/19  that our Warranty does not cover further damages  they are seeking reimbursement for. Review: August 2014 my husband and I purchased a brand new 2015 cargo trailer from trailersplus. The company advertises that there trailers won't leak "period". They "warranty" it. On December 14th when the rain let up outside my husband and I began to unload the trailer that we had filled with some house hold items. To our disappointment we found puddles of water on our mattress and box spring. After further removing of the items in the trailer we found water had also damaged multiple pieces of art work and had done some damage to the wood floor of the trailer. We contacted Trailers plus in Lodi the following business day they were open. I spoke to [redacted] who asked me to bring in the trailer as soon as I could and he would take a look at it. On or about Dec 18th we took the trailer to TrailersPlus and filed a claim with the warranty department. We included a very rough estimate ($4000) of damage done to our personal property. Our property claim was denied but they said they would fix the trailer by repairing the leak and re-sanding the wood floor to get the water damage off. I contacted the warranty department (###-###-####) and spoke to Todd. We came to no resolution. The company refuses to replace the damaged items that the faulty trailer caused.Desired Settlement: I would like my damaged items paid for. (Multiple pieces of art work and a mattress/box spring)
