Review: I recently ordered a train set for my son for Christmas, and it was to be delivered this past Tuesday. It didn't, so I took off of work on Wednesday . The driver left a door tag but didn't ring or knocked on the door. I tried several times to reach [redacted] but to no avail they didn't want to help. So I called Trainworld they in turned called [redacted] and told them to shipping the package back to them and they are refunding my money. Now that's not what I wanted. So my child will not get their first train set for Christmas because of their attitude.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to return my order.

Review: On January *, 2016 I made an online purchase of a MTH Rail King 2-8-0 Passenger Set PRR for $434.37.

Since the very first day I received it the train set (locomotive and tender) have been defective. I made 2 trips BACK to the store to have them fixed and for whatever reason they still did not work properly. After 2 trips back to the store, in frustration, I then sent the MTH train back to the manufacturer to have them fixed. This costs me $72 to do this by [redacted]. When I got it back it still doesn't work right. It has been a defective LEMON since day one. It has been fixed 3 times and it is still a LEMON. I do not have the time to keep trying to have this fixed. Three times and you're out.

MTH did tell me , IN WRITING, the following . "MTH will accept the product back from the retailer and credit the retailers account if the item is defective". I have always been a "Preferred Customer" of Train World. THIS ITEM IS DEFECTIVE.

That's what I want. No more useless trips to have this defective train set fixed. I want a REFUND of my $434.37

OR I want a REPLACEMENT TRAIN SET for this garbage set that has given me nothing but aggrevation

since I purchased it. Of course, I will send back the defective train set as soon as you tell me where to send it back to.

Again, MTH said that they are willing to accept the defective train set back from you and credit your retailer's account if the item is defective. I hate the defective train set that I have now. I want a new train set OR a refund.

That is what I, as a "Preferred Customer " of Train World, expected when I received this brand new set that never worked right.Desired Settlement: A REFUND of the $434.37 that I paid OR A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT of the defective train set.

I will, or course, send the defective train set back to you when you give me the address to send it to.
