I am leasing a car through Acura of Milford (CT) and they sold me a tire and wheel coverage policy They had me signing many papers at the time I leased the car and the optional insurance coverages I took I had a tire blow out on Saturday August 6th, had AAA change the tire and put on the spare, took the tire into a service area to have it repaired and was told it was not repairable I subsequently purchased a new tire Because I did not get prior authorization on a weekday they will not cover the tireThey would have made an exception had this been a weekend The blowout was on a SaturdayI had the tire replaced on a Friday the following week They told me if I had done this it would have at once been approved, but now they will give me nothing This is the way an insurance company gets out of paying for something they are paid to cover This is a pathetic policy and I paid for nothingAcura of Milford should not use this company and selling this kind of coverage is really
