Review: I signed up for a basic rider course which was only appealing due to the road test included in a two day course which cost me $350.00. I work numerous jobs and had to take off of three separate jobs to attend this program. There was two classes running at the same time one was in the classroom for the day which was mine and the second was on the hands on motorcycle range. We were supposed to switch in the afternoon but the class on the range was on the range for over an extra hour both days causing the entire class not to finish. Both classes started at 830am both days and the class on saturday was supposed to end at 6pm and we ended at 715pm and the class on sunday was supposed to end at 6pm and we ended at 745 pm because it was too dark to continue. the other class that was running at the same time all finished within the time. It did rain but we had NO delay in the program where we stopped for the rain we continued in the rain for the remainder of each day. The rain started both days after 4pm. Also there was a new curriculum that started 2 to 3 weeks ago that the instructor stated and that they are just learning aswell. They were very confused at times because of this. The instructor Bill stated that he just went through the audit for the new standards two weeks ago, but he was unsure at times of the program telling us to hold on he needs to double check something. The other instructor Peter at times had no idea of how the new program runs and how to setup cone displays for the range causing the instructors to constantly take extended time to setup cones for the course at times for almost 20 to 30 mins for an obstacle and had to practice on the range before giving the actual demo due to not remembering exactly how to perfomr the task on hand than allowing us to go and practice. Overall the classroom portion was informative but repetitive of the online course that we had to take before the class and the range portion was a complete disaster due to the instructors at times not knowing how to set up or run the proper obstacles. The instructors ended course due to no time to finish the evaluation for the hands on test even though we were out over an hour late each day where the other class finished before the time allotted at 6pm. Overall was very dissapointed that the school did not allow the proper time for the course to allow us to start on time. due to this delay 12 riders including myself did not complete the course. the school and the instructors should all be reevaluated to continue a program like this especially due to the new course curriculum and the instrutors stating that the classes were also over booked. Due to these circumstances I am now unable to finish my course because there was no time allotted by the school to finish at the appropriate time. I have contacted the school and the woman Wanda was very rude where she then became loud yelling at me that it was due to the rain but we drove in the rain and did not delay us at all. When I told her the other complaints she stated well I wasn't there and neither were you. I did state at that pooint well I was and stated that it is my responsibility to make up the course within 30 days due to there season ending, but I am unable to due to work in the emergency services field as a fire fighter and paramedic. At this point she told me tough S[redacted] not my problem and hung up the phone. I have continusly tried to call to speak with someone in a supervisor role or the owner with either no response or no one is available to speak with me.Desired Settlement: Refund and the ridercoaches to be reevaluated on proficiency.

Review: I signed up for two private motorcycle lessons on June [redacted] 2014. They said that the lessons might not be available for a week or two. Eventually after not hearing from them for a while and me contacting them again, they said that I could pay an extra $50 dollars and take the MSF course instead of doing the private lessons. I paid the $50 dollars on July [redacted], but after not hearing from them again, I called back and they said they might not be able to get me into the course until mid August. Every time I've contacted this company either in person or by phone, they always say they'll contact me back, but never do. I called the company on August [redacted] to get a refund of my money in the amount of $200. They said that was no problem and they would send a check out right away. I live in around the same NY area so it should not take long to receive a check by mail. After not receiving anything or hearing from them, I call them again a week later. They said the check was sent out, but after checking, they said they needed to contact the accountant. Again, there is no follow up call. I have to call them again. I call them again today September [redacted] and they say that they've left a voicemail for the accountant/tried to contact them, but they haven't heard anything back. Again they say they will follow up with me.Desired Settlement: A refund in the amount of $200 for services not provided.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I paid $350 for my course and I was aware of their no refund policy. But there was nothing mentioned for if there was emergency arises. On the week of the course, I had a family emergency and I was the only one in town. I had to be there for my mother and she was in the hospital. I was so occupied with work and this matter that I couldn't and didn't have the time to notify the school. I called and called, trying to reschedule my course because I really wanted to do it. I wasn't even asking for full refund. I spoke to [redacted] or [redacted] about my situation and she said to have a doctor's note ready(which I have) and she'll speak to the boss. I don't even have the "boss" full name.

Their customer service was not pleasant.I had to wait for days and nobody called me regarding this matter. In the end I called and "[redacted]" the boss, apparently, answered the phone. I told her about my situation and she started raising her voice on the phone. That's not how you speak to your customer who spent $350 and asking to reschedule. I understand their position but at the same time she didn't compromise as well. I would like a full refund because I can't trust this school even if I get to reschedule.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $350 that I paid for the course in which I could not attend because of an unforeseen emergency.
