In reference to fill, customer said nails were lifting and also that she caught a fungus from us,
first of all let me give you a run down on how fills work, this client already had nails on when
she came, the only thing we do is put acrylic on the regrowth of the nail, we never reapply nails
on a fill, we buff the regrowth so it can have better adhesion then apply primer and then apply acrylic
so if the nails are lifting from bottom that was not of our doing, nails are on from 2 to 3 weeks if
someone wants a fill we only fix the regrowth that's all.  Fills don't cause fungus if nails are left on for
long period of time  and not changed the underneath will start getting air pockets and that's  when bacteria enters these areas it can cause fungus.

we are sorry for our customer service she received from our staff but be rest assured  i have talked to staff
and given them an ear full.

please do not hesitate to to contact me,

Review: I used to attended [redacted] Beauty School, but recently I just withdraw myself from that school, on 9/18/2013. That school the employees and the owner's Ms.[redacted] started so much drama with students, as a student there I get so much stress and depress. Now, that I am withdraw but can't get my Transcript because they said that I own school the money, if I wants to get a transcript I need to paid them $2,767.65. When I enrolled, I attended the orientation Mrs.[redacted] said if students who enroll and purchasing the cosmetology kit for $600, when they get to 1200 hours or a little over 1200 hours, the school owner's Ms.[redacted] will give that student back $1000. That's nothing but a LIE, when I reach 1200hours I came in and ask, they told me that only students whom enroll during 10/15/2011-12/15/2011, and showing me the school's ads as prove. First, I told her that my friend enrolled in 2012, and show her the check prove that my friend got the return of $1000. The employee there told me that just an extra grand on her financial aid. I was really upset and told her, I enrolled in October 2012, as an employees here how long does it take you all to learn new polices or new changes, I am here to learn and get my education, but the employees here are not even educates enough to learn one change of and advertise that been expire for a year, but advertising like it current, now that we ask your only statement is I am sorry but it was expire, RIDICULOUS. In addition, I ask for a copy of that advertising, because the girl who spoke to me, she doesn't read Vietnamese nor speak Vietnamese. The ads she show me, I ask for a copy as evidence because that ads only STATED students who enroll in cosmetology during 10/15/2011-12/15/2011 get a free kit worth almost $1000. Doesn't stated anything about purchasing the kit for $600 and get a $1000 when student get to 1200hours. Even on YOUTUBE when the owner said is 100% free for student with low income or no income is a LIE, be aware is not 100% FREE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NL2iFGpBR8EDesired Settlement: I want my Transcript immediately, because I am DEPRESS and tire of this school. And as the owner of the school, she needs to be responsible for what her employees said or done, and also what she had said. She don't even know her own ads, if she said I can't get my $1000 refund because the ads was over. Her own FAULT making the advertising sound more better than what is the ACTUAL statement on the ADS.

Re: Complaint ID: [redacted])

Thank you very much for taking the time to notify us about the concern with a complaint. I am writing this letter to respond to the complaint ID: [redacted]).

Student information is private and confidential, therefore, the school cannot respond in great detail about the individual who made this complaint. The student correctly identifies in her complaint that there is a balance owed for her tuition and that the school will not release her official transcript until the balance is paid. This is a standard procedure that most schools follow. Sadly it is often the only way to guarantee that a student pays their tuition. At the time that the student enrolled in the school she was provided with an enrollment agreement and financial aid contract that explains the cost of tuition and the consequences of non-payment. If the student pays her tuition the school will immediately release her transcript.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

[redacted] Beauty School

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

When I enrolled in the school, the financial aid advisor Mrs.[redacted] doesn't clearly explained the contract. In addition, she doesn't give me the time to read over the contract and doesn't give me the school BROCHURE/CATALOGUE. I, myself asked Mrs.[redacted] during the enrollment if I had the manicure license can I able to add partial hours into my Cosmetology course, to shorten my hours? Mrs. [redacted] said NO, because I was taking that course at San Diego beauty school. No question asked, since she said No is mean No. As I attended there for a few months, talking to a few students, not only that I also call up to a few schools, and STATE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY and ask about transferring my hours. And ALL were stating to me, that if school are excepting hours from others students than they have NO RIGHT to not excepting your. Now that I completed 1334hours + 280manicure license partial hours = 1614 hours COMPLETE my cosmetology course hours REQUIREMENT. I owned school nothing, instead school owner's Ms.[redacted] owned me the $1000.00 for the kit of promising from her employee's Mrs.[redacted] during my enrollment workshop orientation. As a owner she know is her employee is fault for making FAULT ADVERTISING that's why she fired that employee, that just to result her problem not to have an irresponsible employee not knowing school policy. But doesn't result to my problem as a student/client. I heard what I heard, and I want that message to be delivery. The problem wasn't the ads was expire, the problem is the school's employees were making the ads sound more better than what the actual ADS on the newspaper was, and that is consider as FAULT ADVERTISING. The owner's Ms.[redacted] need to step up and take the responsibilities, because she is the one who hires the employees, and the incidents was happen in the business that she owned, is her responsibilities to step up and result the problems, and not to push the responsibilities off. I owned NOTHING on the tuition fee, and I want my POT( proof of Training) because I complete the hours requirement for the cosmetology course, and my $1000.00 refund for my kit.

Review: I went in for the nail service on Thursday Jan. 23th at around 3:30pm. I got a fill however by Saturday Jan, 25th my nails were lifting and hurting me greatly. I called the school Monday afternoon at roughly 2pm and spoke to [redacted] who told me he is the only manager to speak to. He told me that the only way to get my nail fixed is if I have my receipt. I told him I was not provided with one and he told me there is nothing they can do.

No where in the salon is it posted nor were we told this is the policy. The woman that took my money told me that if the service was not correct it would be fixed. No Problem. No questions asked. I asked this question because this is the first time I brought my family in to reap the benefits of their services.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money which is a small amount however the customer service that I received from [redacted] left a very bad taste in my mouth about this company and the service I paid for was not completed correctly.
