I am rejecting this response because: At the present time my piece of mind is non-existentAs a retired Senior citizen living a fixed income I have several concerns.I will continually worry about the Arizona heat when it gets a outside that this will be a recurring problem.I had a Ruud air conditioner I had this unit for years had to have it repaired after yearsMy Trane unit was years four months old and had to have it repaired due to a defective part.I followed all recommendations on service which I already sent to TraneActually there was a issue with unit weeks after installationDay and Night Air Conditioning Heating Plumbing company (recommend by Trane/Lowe's) had to come out added 1/lbs of coolant In the Day and NIght Air Conditioning notes dated 10-16-the rep states" I found the unit severely low on coolantI can see oil stains inside the condenser on the seven eights line coming out of compressorThere was only a few ounces left so I pumped full of nitrogen and I soap bubbled my welds at the stress crack area on the side going underneath the eights suction line at the compressor ."If there was a issue with unit no one advised me of itDay & Night Representative did say unusual to see a crack in the middle of copper tubing not at a joint/connection .I did some research on online after being charged $for the repair (soldered) of copper tubing and the replacement of coolantIts showed many complaints about this happening It is suggested that Trane is making the copper tubing thinner and its causing it to crack referred as "pin hole cracks" which causes a loss of coolant.Trane chooses to ignore this issue and stated it is not a mechanical part therefore not covered under warrantyI am not the only person who purchased a Trane Unit that is experiencing this issue. Therefore I really feel that Trane needs to address this concern.I feel that this is a mechanical issue with condenser and compressor because of the oil stains the Day & Night Rep refers to his is notes dated 10-16-2106.I would like Trane to address the issue of oil stains showing inside the condenser and line coming out of compressor.I would think the copper tubing holds the coolant so no oil involved.Again my concern is for the future of my unit will this happen again and keep happeningI cannot stand the financial burden of thisMy unit was very expensive and I have a maintenance contract to keep my unit in working condition My contract only covers maintenance not these issuesSo that is also an additional financial responsibilty.Even with all this in mind I have no control over the unit if it develops another STRESS CRACKThen what?I feel that Trane needs to replace unit or maintain unit if this happens again.I look forward to Revdex.com and Trane response.Sincerely [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:   At the present time my piece of mind is non-existent. As a  retired Senior citizen living a fixed income I have several concerns.I will continually worry about the Arizona heat when it gets a 120 outside that this will be a recurring problem.I had a Ruud air conditioner I had this unit for 13 years had to have it repaired after 10 years. My Trane unit was 2 years four months old and had to have it repaired due to a defective part.I followed all recommendations on service which I already sent to TraneActually there was a issue with unit 2 weeks after installation. Day and Night Air Conditioning Heating Plumbing company (recommend by Trane/Lowe's) had to come out added 2 1/2 lbs of coolant.  In the Day and NIght Air Conditioning notes dated 10-16-2016 the rep states" I found the unit severely low on coolant. I can see oil stains inside the condenser on the seven eights line coming out of compressor. There was only a few ounces left so I pumped full of nitrogen and I soap bubbled my welds at the stress crack area on the side going underneath the 7 eights suction line at the compressor ."If there was a issue with unit no one advised me of it. Day & Night Representative did say unusual to see a crack in the middle of copper tubing not at a joint/connection .I did some research on online after being charged $734.01 for the repair (soldered) of copper tubing and the replacement of coolant. Its showed many complaints about this happening It is suggested that Trane is making the copper tubing thinner and its causing it to crack referred as "pin hole cracks" which  causes a  loss of coolant.Trane chooses to ignore this issue and stated it is not a mechanical part therefore not covered under warranty. Please be advised that Rocky Mountain Trane handles commercial sales, not residential. I reached out to the Consumer Relations team that was referenced and they advised me that they are working directly with the home owner and the dealer to resolve the issue.
