Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America (Renaissance) (NAIC #61700) is in receipt of the above complaint Upon receipt, our Customer Service department promptly researched this inquiryThe member's complaint stated that a pre-authorization was required before her son's surgery could be scheduled In reviewing our records, no pre-authorization was received However, a claim for date of service, January 23, 2018, was received on January 30, and processed in accordance with the plan on February 2, We believe the member's concerns have been addressed and resolved

Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America (Renaissance) (NAIC #***) is in receipt of the above complaint. Upon receipt, our Customer Service department promptly researched this inquiry. The member advised that he sent written cancellation to Renaissance
twice. Upon investigation, we were unable to locate correspondence requesting that the policy be termed. However, a Customer Service Representative contacted the member on February 13, and the policy has been retro termed to January 1, as requested by the member and a refund is being processed via the credit card number on file. We believe the member's concerns have been addressed

effective January 1, Ms***’s policy has been terminated effective January 1, and a refund based on the number of full months in which premiums were paid but not earned due to the termination has been initiated by our Customer Service department
