I am writing this letter to you in response of the complaint you received, ID [redacted], I would like to start off by sending you a copy of the email sent to the client and as you will see it states...

a free haircut and fifty percent off any color service. On Saturday February *, 2015 [redacted] asked if I could honor the free haircut, which originally costs $55.00, portion of the email for her daughter, [redacted], which is something we do not normally do, it's only for the recipient but as a courtesy I did honor her request anyway. Then on Tuesday February **, 2015 [redacted] came in with [redacted] and received fifty percent off her most expensive color service, which originally it would have cost $130.00 for everything and she was only charged $90.00. At that time she received a consultation to discuss her goals with her hair and she had informed us she was using box color and had not been going to a professional for quite some time. [redacted] informed her about her split ends an d also told her about the dryness of her hair and suggested a haircut might be necessary. She did not want to pay for a haircut so that was ok with us and so [redacted] proceeded to do the color. My staff member did not ruin or burn her hair and truthfully scientifically this is not a possible act for if we did do anything [redacted]’s hair would of broke off from the roots. Most of the heat comes from the top of the head where heat is produced and the ends process the slowest. Any professional hairdresser who knows the science behind hair color would be able to vouch for this factual statement. The ends would be the least damaged and based on the accusations she has stated it shows clearly that she just had split ends. As stated above we have explained this to her already. I explained all of this to [redacted] when I called her and even offered her another complimentary haircut besides the one we gave her daughter, [redacted], but she clearly did not want to hear it as she w as very threatening and was calling and harassing my staff, showing up at the salon, and was very relentless. I had to inform her through social media that she needs to stop the harassment or I will be getting an order of protection so she finally stopped and also deleted all her bulling acts of social media. I will not allow her to threaten nor bully my staff, that is not ok she was completely inappropriate. She got even more inappropriate when she demanded her money back and I said, “we cannot do that you received fifty percent off and also your daughter got the free haircut so the little bit of money we did get covered the products used, overhead, and payroll.” I'm not sure what else she wanted from me but I feel she got way more than her money’s worth and also her hair looked beautiful. She did not like that response and told me she would be contacting you, the Revdex.com, and I told her she is allowed to do whatever she felt needed to be done, that is her right. I hope this finally resolves this issue for she will not stop and I need to move on from this unhealthy behavior. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: I went to the salon on Feb. **, 2015. I asked for a highlighting and color from the hairstylist [redacted]. I have never used her before. The salon's desk girl April recommended her to me when I asked for a person who is excellent with color. So after the service I went home to blow dry my hair. (I didn't have it dried at the salon because it was an extra fee.) Then my hair was breaking off, and falling off. The chemicals she put in my hair caused a chemical burn to my hair. It was fraying and falling off. I was devastated. I called the salon immediately, and requested a refund of my $90. They said for me to come down to the salon. I went and the lights were out, and they had closed the shop. While I was in the parking lot the [redacted] called me. I tried to explain what happened and she started screaming and cursing at me. She would not refund my money and blamed me for what happened to my hair, that is was my use of box color that caused my hair to be burned. She offered a free conditioning treatment and haircut to cut out what was burned. I told her I was not interested in that, I did not trust the salons expertise, and I was afraid they would cause more damage to my hair. She then continued to curse at me and hung up on me. She then called back as I was driving home and apologized for cursing but still would not refund my money. I said I would be contacting the Revdex.com and try to get my money back by filing a dispute in small claims. She took that very badly and said I was threatening her and she started cursing again at me.

I then went to a more reputable salon where they cut as much of the burnt damaged hair as they could and conditioned it, which cost me an additional $40 (not including the tip). The hairstylist I went to for the cut said she most probably left the chemical on too long and pulled the color through the ends which is not safe to do.

The stylist [redacted] at Tranquility lacked experience and expertise causing terrible damage to my hair and the salon [redacted] and [redacted] with not take responsibility for their mistake.Desired Settlement: A refund of $90 for the service along with $15 tip that was given. A total refund of $105.

The $90 was on my debit card the $15 was paid in cash.
