Review: This shop took the job to rebuild the transmission for my Camry 2002 (licence [redacted]) with 12,000 miles or 1 year warranty After the shop said it was don. I took the car to test drive it but there were problems with the transmission. I took it back 3 times already and it has been 40 days but the problem still exists. The car is unsafe to drive because it stalls between 1st and 2nd gear.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and take it to another shop to fix it. I am concerned about my safety.

Review: My name is [redacted] and I was dealing with my fiancees car while he was at work.

On April 16th 2016 my fiancee had his car towed to [redacted]s Mobile Auto Repair Shop. Prior to this I had spoke with [redacted] about the car problem and He said it was doable. My fiancees car needed a new oil pan on his 2000 cadillac deville. When I arrived at the shop. The tow truck guy took the car off and left it in the front of the building. [redacted]s shop was in the back. Myself and [redacted] pushed the car to his shop. When we got to the front of the shop [redacted] needed to get a better grip on the car. Because the car was dead he charged up the battery started the car and rolled down the window. After we pushed the car inside the shop. He put it on the lift and lifted the car in the air so we could see the hole. I have video and pictures as well. [redacted] calculated the hours and the total and we made a deal of 750.00$ I called my fiance and went over everything with him and asked if he wanted to approve the repair he said yes. I signed the papers and put down 300$. [redacted] told me if I could go to auto zone and pick up oil pan gasket oil filter 5quarts of oil and more. I have the receipts for that as well. I came back gave him the products and he said he wi start work monday. Over the next week. I spoke with [redacted] over the phone and text message that tuesday [redacted] asked my fiancee to bring in the oil pan he bought. Then I needed papers so on april 21st I came the shop. The engine to the car was pulled out and they were taking it apart to get to the oil pan. I got the papers and left. Over the next few days I called [redacted] and asked about the car the only thing he told me was he will call me when uts done have to make sure everything works right. On 4/28 I received a text message stating the car is finished but the engine crankshaft wont turn the engine is broken. Need a new engine. I asked [redacted] how that happened when the car was working fine and started before he started to work on it. He said he doesnt know. But I had to pay. I refused to.Desired Settlement: [redacted] needs to replace the engine and cover all the costs its going to take to fix the car. I asked [redacted] if I could take the car to have a second opinion he told me no I have to pay first to take the car. I told him no we will not pay for something that is now broken. Before we brought the car in the car started fine now it wont start at all and the engine will not turn.Something happened when he took the engine apart and when he put it back together. We need to get it replaced or compensated.
