We were having issues with our Isuzu and had it towed into TransTech Auto based on their ratings After a couple of weeks and an almost $1000, the vehicle came home and we were told that the compression check on the engine indicated that we had another 50,000-100,miles on this engine and that everything was good to go
On Aug 31, (wks later) it needed to be towed back into them for the same issues it originally was taken in for After wks and no answers and no real contact from them (even though we called and left messages) we had the Isuzu towed for the 3rd time since July, this time to *** (old Isuzu dealer) We asked for at least a partial refund due to the vehicle not being repaired or having any real answers and we were told we were lucky they weren't charging us to try and find out why the work they originally did, did not work? We were told before we took it back to them, that this was covered under warranty for the work they'd already done

The transtech team is professional, courteous and efficient I was very happy with how they took care of my car I would highly recommend transtech to anyone

I had my transmission replaced here 2.5 years ago and they don't have the paperwork I needed at the time and the man who owns the store is a know it all jerk. He wouldn't explain anything to me and assumed since I didn't know anything about cars or replacing parts that he could just push me off to gm due to the issue with the transmission I continued to have after they replaced/rebuilt it. Gm told me to check on the transmission they'd need the Vin number from the transmission they put in there but they apparently can't keep records that long. Even in hospitals they have to keep records for at least 5 years, whether ir not the patients come in within the 5 years... it doesn't seem right that if the gm warranty is for 3 years that the place who put the part in should delete the information on the work order for 3 years. Also, the receptionist people were always very nice... they never treated me with disrespect but like I said, the owner is unhelpful, rude, and disrespectful.

We've had our Subaru serviced here for two things: replacement of the strut mount plate and an oil change. Both times the crew was very professional and polite. I called for an estimate over the phone and the man who answered took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answer all of my many questions. The work cost exactly what he estimated. The shop is centrally located, very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be bringing my cars here again! Glad that I found such a great mechanic!

I have taken my 2006 F250 in to Trans Tech on three occasions over the course of the last year. First, was to diagnose and fix a drive line vibration, a few months later to have the breaks done and most recently to have the EGR/oil coolers replaced. Jim was very honest with me and gave me good feedback with which to make decisions about repairs. I had done my home work in all three instances so that I had some idea of what was needed and could converse with him regarding my options. I feel as though he has represented his business fairly, to include telling me when I did not need to spend money on a certain parts as it was not nesessary or he did not feel comfortable installing something inferior. My last major repair was completed just before Christmas and I literally picked up the truck and drove to Florida and back. Absolutly no issues with any work or parts from this shop! I will return for future work and have confidence in their word, parts and workmanship!

This company made an unauthorized charge on my debit card. This company did this to me more than a year after I moved from Colorado. They charged my card without my permission/authorization. I turned this company in for unauthorized use of my card. In my opinion this company committed fraud. This company is being investigated for fraud as I had to file a claim against Trans-Tech Transmissions in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

About a year and a half ago when I was living in Colorado Springs I had this company repair my van. They said that they ran a diagnostic test on my vehicle and told me that it needed several parts. They kept my van for a few days. They said that the repairs were done, I paid over a $1300 for what they said they fixed. I did not even drive my van for a mile and the problem that they were supposed to fix was never fixed. They said that I needed to bring it back, I brought it back, then they said that it was another problem, they wanted more money for it. As far as I m concerned it was their mistake that they had misdiagnosed my van, so I feel that since I paid them over a thousand dollars that they should not have charged me for the parts on what the real problem really was, it was their error not mine. So for a second time they said they fixed it.

A week later my van started to leak again, I took it to another mechanic and they said that it was never repaired and that my transmission mount bolts were stripped and just about to fall off, which would have caused a very serious accident, if they had fallen off while the van was moving. I took it back to Trans Tech Transmissions and told Jim about what I was told, well they took my van in again and as usual they said that it was fixed.

Well I moved from Colorado about a month later and my van started to leak again, and is still leaking to this day. So my guess is that they once again did not seal it properly like they were supposed to.

I had several items fixed on my aging truck and everything now works great. Chris the mechanic and Sara at the front desk explained the required work needed quiet well. Sara and Chris are both warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I noticed Sara greeted everyone that arrived with a smile and warm welcome. I had never used Trans Tech previously and feel I have found an honest and friendly auto repair shop. I highly recommend Trans Tech Transmissions for all vehicle repairs. Very good friendly people and fair prices.

This business is not reputable and should be avoided at all costs. Took car for transmission shift problem problem. Was told $100 to diagnose and if they did the work then the $100 would be applied. It was applied. When I dropped the car for repair, I never authorized any additional work but they decided to inspect the car WITHOUT my permission. They came back with a list of problems (oldest trick in the book right?) They wanted to do a lot of work but I told them only to change fan belt and engine air filter. They commented about bad rear brakes but previously I had heard no noise when braking. I did not authorize them to look at, diagnose or in any way touch the brakes. Upon picking up the car the brakes now are squealing like crazy. Second, while the car was there I asked that they tell me why I get poor heating in the car. They never mentioned any additional charges. At check out they wanted $100. This guy is a shyster and gives auto repair businesses a bad reputation.

I took 2 company trucks in for transmission rebuilds. less than 2 years later they both failed again. I had an overall terrible experience the first time so I took the trucks somewhere else. after inspection it was discovered that the transmissions werent fully rebuilt like we paid for (3000$ a piece) and that only a few pats had been rigged up to make it work. we will be taking them to court
