This company made an unauthorized charge on my debit cardThis company did this to me more than a year after I moved from ColoradoThey charged my card without my permission/authorizationI turned this company in for unauthorized use of my cardIn my opinion this company committed fraudThis company is being investigated for fraud as I had to file a claim against Trans-Tech Transmissions in Colorado Springs, Colorado About a year and a half ago when I was living in Colorado Springs I had this company repair my vanThey said that they ran a diagnostic test on my vehicle and told me that it needed several partsThey kept my van for a few daysThey said that the repairs were done, I paid over a $ for what they said they fixedI did not even drive my van for a mile and the problem that they were supposed to fix was never fixedThey said that I needed to bring it back, I brought it back, then they said that it was another problem, they wanted more money for itAs far as I m concerned it was their mistake that they had misdiagnosed my van, so I feel that since I paid them over a thousand dollars that they should not have charged me for the parts on what the real problem really was, it was their error not mineSo for a second time they said they fixed it A week later my van started to leak again, I took it to another mechanic and they said that it was never repaired and that my transmission mount bolts were stripped and just about to fall off, which would have caused a very serious accident, if they had fallen off while the van was movingI took it back to Trans Tech Transmissions and told Jim about what I was told, well they took my van in again and as usual they said that it was fixed Well I moved from Colorado about a month later and my van started to leak again, and is still leaking to this daySo my guess is that they once again did not seal it properly like they were supposed to

We've had our Subaru serviced here for two things: replacement of the strut mount plate and an oil changeBoth times the crew was very professional and politeI called for an estimate over the phone and the man who answered took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answer all of my many questionsThe work cost exactly what he estimatedThe shop is centrally located, very clean and comfortable I will definitely be bringing my cars here again! Glad that I found such a great mechanic!

This business is not reputable and should be avoided at all costs Took car for transmission shift problem problem Was told $to diagnose and if they did the work then the $would be applied It was appliedWhen I dropped the car for repair, I never authorized any additional work but they decided to inspect the car WITHOUT my permission They came back with a list of problems (oldest trick in the book right?) They wanted to do a lot of work but I told them only to change fan belt and engine air filter They commented about bad rear brakes but previously I had heard no noise when braking I did not authorize them to look at, diagnose or in any way touch the brakesUpon picking up the car the brakes now are squealing like crazySecond, while the car was there I asked that they tell me why I get poor heating in the car They never mentioned any additional charges At check out they wanted $This guy is a shyster and gives auto repair businesses a bad reputation

I have taken my Fin to Trans Tech on three occasions over the course of the last yearFirst, was to diagnose and fix a drive line vibration, a few months later to have the breaks done and most recently to have the EGR/oil coolers replacedJim was very honest with me and gave me good feedback with which to make decisions about repairsI had done my home work in all three instances so that I had some idea of what was needed and could converse with him regarding my optionsI feel as though he has represented his business fairly, to include telling me when I did not need to spend money on a certain parts as it was not nesessary or he did not feel comfortable installing something inferiorMy last major repair was completed just before Christmas and I literally picked up the truck and drove to Florida and backAbsolutly no issues with any work or parts from this shop! I will return for future work and have confidence in their word, parts and workmanship! Sean

I had several items fixed on my aging truck and everything now works greatChris the mechanic and Sara at the front desk explained the required work needed quiet well Sara and Chris are both warm, friendly and knowledgeableI noticed Sara greeted everyone that arrived with a smile and warm welcomeI had never used Trans Tech previously and feel I have found an honest and friendly auto repair shopI highly recommend Trans Tech Transmissions for all vehicle repairsVery good friendly people and fair prices

I took company trucks in for transmission rebuildsless than years later they both failed againi had an overall terrible experience the first time so I took the trucks somewhere elseafter inspection it was discovered that the transmissions werent fully rebuilt like we paid for (3000$ a piece) and that only a few pats had been rigged up to make it workwe will be taking them to court

Great service, nice staff and great prices, and all work done in a timely way, I would definitely recommend Tran Tech Transmissions
