I searched for a repair shop to take out the original transmission out of my Chevrolet Impala and install a replacement transmissionThe replacement transmission was a match for the ImpalaI came across Trans Xpress's ad in the Milwaukee Red BookI gave them a call and I was quoted a price of $On 07/17/18, I drove my Impala (with the replacement transmission in the back seat) to Trans Xpress to have the repairs completedOn 07/18/18, Trans Xpress called back to state that a $transmission mount would be needed to complete the repairsThis brought the total amount to $after a $transmission fluid charge and $in sales taxA $deposit was made towards the repairs with the rest ($197.70) to paid on 07/20/ A family member went to pick up the car after all repairs was completed and all money was paid and the car would not startTrans Xpress spent the next five calendars days trying multiple efforts to repair what the issue was (which was unkn

On June 8, I picked up my Cadillac Escalade EXT FROM CREST CADILLAC OF BROOKFIELD, WIWHERE IT HAD BEEN SERVICEDTHERE WERE SERVICES RECOMMENDED FOR MY VEHICLE FOR THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL NOISE DETECTED ON A TEST DRIVE WITH A COST ESTIMATE TO REBUILD FRONT $- $
ON MY WAY HOME I STOPPED AT TRANS-X-PRESS TRANSMISSIONS AT *** ** *** *** *** *** *** AND MADE INQUIRIES AS TO WHAT THEIR COST WOULD BE TO DO A REBUILDI WAS TOLD THEY COULD DO THE JOB FOR $WITH A $CASH DOWN PAYMENT WITH A DAY WARRANTYAND THE JOB WOULD TAKE ABOUT 2-DAYS
ON JUNE 9, I DROP MY VEHICLE OFF FOR SERVICE WITH A $CASH DEPOSITTHE WORK WAS NOT COMPLETED UNTIL JUNE 15, AT THAT TIME, I PAID $IN CASHFOR WHAT EVER REASON THEY ONLY DO WORK ON A CASH ONLY BASETHE TOTAL PAYMENT WAS $1,
JUNE 24, I WAS BACK AT THE SHOP COMPLAINING OF THE SAME NOISE, AND AT THAT TIME HE TOLD ME THAT HE DID NOT REBUILD THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL BUT

I had my 74 Camaro transmission rebuilt by the owner Mark himself and since the car ignition is broken because he did not take the time to sync my transmission and ignition, it also starts in any gear which is a major safety hazard, and he also cut my downshift cable and now I have to shift my car as a manual, I'm not really sure if the transmission really shifts correct or not because he also failed to get everything in order relating to the transmission and motor. All the new problems started the same day I took my car home, if you have not taken your car there, please save yourself the head ache.... this has been the most horrific experience with a vehicle in all of my 31 years....

I brought my 2006 Nissan Altima into the shop for a third opinion. I was being yanked around by other transmission shops telling me that I needed a new transmission for 2295!! Mark who I believe to be the owner went over my vehicle and found out it was just a linear solenoid and fixed for me for just $417! I can't express how happy this made me. Its very easy to be taken advantage of by mechanic shops as a woman. I am highly recommending this place to all of my friends. Just wanted to say thank you publically again! Thank you TransXPress. My car is running great!

I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NEVER RECCOMEND THIS! A HUGE [redacted] WASTE OF MONEY!
We went there to get our mini van's transmission fixed for our road trip and right after we received the vehicle, our van began to break down not even half way through our trip. We had to spend even more money on calling a tow truck, renting new cars and going back to get it fixed.
Another thing, the service is terrible. The lady at the front after a few visits to check up on our vehicle, became very rude and began accusing us of being "mean" and not saying "hello?" WHAT?!
And when requesting for written proof of what they've done, she wrote that we "didn't have any money" and that they "gave us a cooler for free."
[redacted].
Also, when addressing a new found loose wire, the mechanic simply stated that he "didn't do anything" and wouldn't even try to fix it. [redacted]!
I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND SUCH A WASTE LIKE THIS!

Review: I had them install a transmission in my car, the day I picked it up my radio wasn't working anymore and the car wouldn't start so I gave them a call the receptionist at the front desk was soo Rude Her name is [redacted] she told me they would not touch my radio I would have to take it to the dealer ship. I told her my radio was working when I brought it to them and it was they responsibility to return my car back to me in the shape it was in outside the transmission they put in she just was not trying to work with us she threatned to take the warranty off the transmission the conversation got real heated. I asked for the owner name and number and she refused to give it to me. It took the machanic to come from in garage to satisfy our needs. I WILL NOT NOR WILL I REFER ANYONE TO THAT PLACE FOR SERVICE.a friend of mine had her car done there and she told me after all this that they stole her stereo and speakers out of her car. and the items was found in the shop.

THIS JUST PISSED ME OFF.

Review: I had towed my vehicle to Trans-x-press to have the truck repaired. One the vehicle was at the shop I was told it needed a transmission I left a 500 deposit and was told it would be 895 + fluids and taxes on 6/26/13. A couple days later I was told it will need a torque converter and front half shaft that would be and additional $350.On 7/3/13 I received a call from the shop office recipient at 3:30pm stating my car was done I call the shop at 5:30 letting them know I'm on the way but they told me my vehicle would not go into 2wheel drive and was told they will repaid and be done in the morning. That following morning 7/4/13 I went the to Trans-x-press and the mechanic could not get the car out of four wheel drive He had already taken transfer case motor off the vehicle once I pointed out that the driveshaft that is connected to the rearend was moving and the car was not moving he said that he did not know that and was not the one that test drove after the transmission was installed and stated that she test drove it in 4 low which make the front pull and will not allow it to change gears. The Vehicle was having the same problems that I took it up there for.Once I was told that it was not diagnosis and they thought was the tranny we went back and fourth I finally came to the conclusion that I will not be getting a running vehicle I was offered by the shop they will do the labor for free if I get a rearend. I had the rearend at the shop by 4 pm which cost 475 used. The mechanic had to put the transfer case motor back together and could not he then left it off and manually tried put it back in 2 wheel drive by turning a computer control dial, after 4 hours I was called to come to the shop and help the mechanic carry the rearend to the bay the truck was being repaired in. Once the rearend in was installed without the emergency brakes connected correctly he continued to try to get the vehicle to two wheel drive. An owner of another shop came and helped him connect the odometer and get it drivable. I paid the balance of 850 not know it was still n 4X4

but 4high which allows it to change gear correctly.I took the vehicle back to the shop 7/5/13 letting them know that the transmission was leaking it the transmission was overfilled first gear slipped, exhaust leak service engine lights came on and it was in 4 wheel drive. At that time he drained the fluids and cleared the codes and tightened up my exhaust bolts.Once he could not get it out of 4wheel drive if said he can't fix it's my problem they stated there only licensed to do transmission. The office recipient told me to sue them.

I went to another shop and explained the situation and they told me that the rearend was probably the problem from the get go and the transfer case motor was computer controlled and couldn't be manually set. What do I do they have Revdex.com decals on there wall but as I investigate there are not with the Revdex.com.The shop would not give me the owners contact information. Please Help Me and Stop them from doing this to others. I have spent over 1800 dollars and the vehicle was never diagnosis from the beginning.Desired Settlement: Repair or refund.
