Review: My Ukrainian born wife, [redacted], who is now a permanent U. S. Resident, intended to travel with our 4 yo son, [redacted] and our 3 yo son, [redacted], to depart MIA at 1835EST ** July 2013 to visit her mother in Ukraine. Their electronic ticket numbers are [redacted], respectively. The children are American citizens. [redacted] has not visited her mother. Two separate ticket purchases (both one-way tickets) were made for [redacted]'s trip was $1,687.10 and $799.46. plus an additional $500.00 for a rental car, 5 purchases of gas and two fast food meals. My wife and children were served by a rude and unprofessional Transaero agent working the Business Class check-in kiosk. This Transaero agent told my wife that return tickets were required for everyone, including my wife. My wife and children were made to wait 45 minutes while she served other customers before she tried to resolve the discrepancy. After more than an hour of waiting for this agent to speak to my wife we finally left the airport. Transaero's website does not invoke any application logic to warn clients making purchases that there may be legal complications if the ticket is for certain destination nations. Transaero's website does not warn or-- better yet--prohibit one-way ticket purchases for certain destination nations with special visa requirements. Transaero have no knowlegable and professional agents who are immmediately available at the airport and who are expert in immigration and travel regulations of other nations. This observation is based on Transaero's decision to re-ticket my family for a ** July 2013 departure from MIA--even though neither my wife nor I requested the rebooking.Desired Settlement: Complete refund: $2986.56 Dismissal of the Transaero agent who worked the Business Class kiosk at Miami FL International Airport between 1700EST and 1900EST on ** July 2013. Immediately stop selling one-way tickets online whenever there are complex or special visa requirements for the destination nation. This means a complete re-evalutation of transaero.us's program logic and, perhaps, a revision to the application's code which both warns and/or prohibits potential U. S. citizens from purchasing one-way tickets when the destination country has extraordinary visa requirements. Immediately stop the practice or re-selling any tickets for any overbooked flight if the orginal purchaser is present at the outbound airport. Complimentary flight for my wife [redacted], and our children [redacted] and [redacted] from MIA to Ukraine in Transaero Business Class.

We had reviewed the claim and will reimburse pax for the unused airline tickets. The agent who had assisted passengers was counseled and removed from the account.

Review: I filed a complaint with Transaero after a terrible experience on July [redacted]. They told me it is complaint number [redacted], and that they told me they would respond in 30 days. I have not yet heard from them, over three months later. I email them every few weeks to remind them, and they never responded to those emails. They owe me $2385.Desired Settlement: $2385
