As to Mr. [redacted]’s complaint, the full payoff amount was applied to his motorcycle loan on July 24, 2017. A personal check was used to pay the motorcycle loan balance off. To ensure full collection of funds, lien releases are sent to the consumer and County Clerk’s Office after ten business...
days. The motorcycle lien release was mailed to member on 8/9/2017. We have a signed copy on record with this date. We called the [redacted] County Clerk to confirm lien release and talked to an employee named [redacted]. She stated that the lien was released in their system on 8/18/2017. We consider this matter closed.

1. I was NOT contacted until the missed payments were in the critical stage. I missed ONE phone call as I was at work and could not return the call until the following day. I received NO written letters stating that the original borrower was in default. I had ask that if ONE payment was missed to contact me immediately. I was assured that I would be, I WAS NOT contacted.
2. Mr. [redacted] DID NOT handle the issue in a courteous manner. He was rude and demanded that the payment be made and I was forced to drive 50 miles in a snow storm to make the payment.
I do not accept the response as I have remembered this issue for 2 years. If it had been handled courteously I would certainly not have file a complaint.
