I bought a Transcend 64GB microSD card (part #: [redacted] ) on July The card completely failed in less than monthsTranscend provide lifetime warranty on this card so I submitted warranty claim on Feb 2017, got approved (RMA # [redacted] ) and shipped the failed card to Transcend for a replacement according to their instructionI got confirmation email from Transcend that the card was received by Transcend on Feb In the email, I was told the replacement card would be shipped out to me in business days and I would receive an email notification once it is shipped outOn Mar 2017, after waiting for days, I emailed back to check and was given the excuse of "we are still waiting to receive the replacement part from our headquarters"Today is Mar and it's been more than days and I still have not received my warranty replacement card or shipping notification of the replacementI don't think there's any excuse for such a long delay for warranty rep

Transcend did not resolve this issue at allI have not wantedly purchased counterfeit memory moduleresellers in india are selling it openly.Transcend could have atleast taken legal action on retailers selling counterfeit items.Looks like transcend does not care about its brand image or customer satisfaction.

This customer is located in India.   Customer purchased his Transcend product in India.   Transcend-USA office does not handle India territory.   India territory is handled by Transcend-TW office.   Customer contacted Transcend-TW office on 05/17/15 (Internal case number...

[051715019TW]).   Customer provided serial number for his part as [redacted] (number is invalid, too many digits).   When we perform a work order trace in our Transcend system, we find this part ([redacted]) was manufactured 08/2010.   Customer may have purchased a counterfeit Transcend product since the serial number is incorrect/invalid as stated to customer from Transcend-TW office.   If part is truly counterfeit, then unfortunately there is nothing Transcend can do to replace this memory module. If part is a genuine Transcend product, then customer MAY obtain a new RMA replacement part from Transcend-TW branch office.
