Regarding *** ***I have enclosed his lease, which clearly shows his Security Deposit to be only $ The carpets had been cleaned with bleach, leaving big bleach marks, and you can see by the security disposition all the repairs etc that had to be doneIt was his choice
to put the owner's appliances in the garage and use his own

I was referred to TransCity through a friend who uses them. I thought having this reference was beneficial since it came recommended and could have faith that the company was reputable. In the beginning, I will admit that I was satisfied. HOWEVER, I ran into a situation where they replaced the fridge with a used one without consulting me (asking me if I wanted a new one or old one). Per the contract, they are to consult with the homeowner for any expenses greater than $200. When I brought this to their attention they recognized their error and agreed to replace the used one with a new one. Per my conversation with the TransCity representative, he indicated that the company would cover the difference as a result of their mistake. They did not take any expenses out of my account at that time. I was satisfied that they not only acknowledged their mistake but wanted to make it right. I then closed my account due to selling the property and I collected my keys from them. I assumed all as good and I was done with them.
Unfortunately, they come back to me months later indicating that I have an outstanding balance for the fridge. Seriously?? Apparently, whatever miscommunication they had internally about covering for their mistake was passed along to me incorrectly. If they never intended to cover the difference for the fridge then they should have and could have debited my account at that time. Even at the time of closing out my account and collecting my keys, it should have been identified if there were any expenses outstanding. They made me believe all was in good standing. Now, months later they come back to me asking for the difference instead of writing it off due to their own internal mistake and poor business practices. They had every opportunity to collect the funds if they never intended to cover the entire difference for the fridge.
It is apparently that they do not value customer satisfaction/service because any other company I know would recognize that it isn’t worth collecting on something that was their own mistake to begin with. This last experience with them left a sour taste in my mouth and reflects negatively on the quality of their service if you ask me.

We used them for 2 years. They are not pro-owner. The move out walk through has poor quality pictures, very poor assessment of what is clean and needs to be repaired or fixed such as large holes in walls which were painted prior to move in, filthy oven, damaged baseboards (dog chews), urine stained tile grout, yard work not done, weeks in HOA governed areas. They give the lockbox key to anyone with no agent with them so the key could be copied and the home ransacked or lived in. We were very unhappy with their services this past year and would never use them again. Payment is not in a timely manner.
