I took my Chevy Equinox in for an oil change at Harbor Chevrolet in Michigan City The clerk informed me of the need for a tire rotation and was told not to perform a tire rotationOn return of my vehicle, I was informed that a tire rotation was indeed performed with the oil change after they specifically were told not to I was annoyed by the tire rotation because it had just been done, started my vehicle, left the parking lot and about minutes later the service engine light came on as I traveled to work I was also having trouble taking off as if I was in a lower gear I called the dealership and the response from Jim over the phone was, "It has nothing to do with the work we just performed and it will be $for a diagnosis." My sister who had the same issue told me they have broken a speed sensor when rotating the tires This is a common occurrence and an easy fix Instead of this dealership accepting responsibility as this may not be a coincidence and diagnosing the engine light immediately, they demanded $before they would look at it I immediately returned and mechanics came out and lifted my hood The service manager came out and slammed my hood closed and demanded the $ for a problem he very well may have causedI told them I figured that since my vehicle was fine before I drove in and now the light is on, maybe they forgot to connect something back? This service manager was rude and his name was JimI asked for my key and went to Harbor Chevrolet in Valparaiso (they get stars) and they promptly fixed my vehicle It was in fact a sensor that had been broken and this sensor was also under warranty however a $deductible had to be applied They (Chevy in Valpo)also stated that my tires were NOT supposed to be rotated at that timeBecause of the unethical business practices by Harbor Chevrolet in MC Indiana and lack of accountability, I will also be filing a formal complaint I also should have my $refunded The probability that a sensor broke within the same hour as tires were rotated through no fault of the dealership is slim to NONE Avoid this dealership! From what I've heard from my Dad, the Valparaiso location is the better location to have your vehicle serviced

I am very pleased with the work performed by Slabmaster Ltd. The project was small but went extremely well. The workers explained what they were doing and why every step of the way. They cleaned up beyond my expectations and swept the whole driveway. The crew were friendly and worked fast and steady. Highly recommended.
