ON behalf of the [redacted] Company and as the owner of the clinic Ms. [redacted] communicated with when she was interested in purchasing the device, here are the facts as I know them.Ms. [redacted], against our advice, bought the device from an unathorized vendor, and thus risked not getting the support...

that we providers offer. She complained to company owner, Michael R[redacted], M.D., about a reaction she had following the use of the cap. Dr. R[redacted] spoke to her dermatologist, as he was concerned of any negative condition that could be associated with the device' use. some 150 + emails were exchanged. He writes,"i have communicated with her dermatologist and she is under physician care for melasma which is exacerbated by a range of things - hormones, warm weather, hot yoga, etc. here melasma was exacerbated during [redacted] use.  she discontinued [redacted] use) Although not required to do so, Dr. R[redacted] issued a refund of $1540. in May of 2013.  John V[redacted], Executive DirectorThe [redacted] Company

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response contains numerous false statements. 1. ON behalf of the [redacted] Company and as the owner of the clinic Ms. [redacted] communicated with when she was interested in purchasing the device, here are the facts as I know them.Ms. [redacted], against our advice, bought the device from an unathorized vendor, and thus risked not getting the support that we providers offer.ANSWER: John V[redacted]'s company is a reseller of [redacted]. As such, they were attempting to sell me the product and never consulted me on other places to purchase the product. That would be a conflict of their interests. This is a completely fabricated conversation. I also never spoke with Mr. V[redacted], so how is he privy to the details of his employee (i.e. his wife) whom I did speak with? 2. She complained to company owner, Michael R[redacted], M.D., about a reaction she had following the use of the cap. Dr. R[redacted] spoke to her dermatologist, as he was concerned of any negative condition that could be associated with the device' use. some 150 + emails were exchanged. He writes,"i have communicated with her dermatologist and she is under physician care for melasma which is exacerbated by a range of things - hormones, warm weather, hot yoga, etc. here melasma was exacerbated during [redacted] use.  she discontinued [redacted] use)ANSWER: Mr. R[redacted] ignored emails for over a year. He only recently spoke to my dermatologist office. As admitted above, the item caused Melasma. The Melasma did not go away when the [redacted] usage stopped. It stayed and had and has to be medically treated to keep it from being apparent and visible. The other reasons this person provides for Melasma are not applicable to me.  3. Although not required to do so, Dr. R[redacted] issued a refund of $1540. in May of 2013. Mr. R[redacted] was legally obligated to provide a refund of 75% if the product did not work as it was part of the purchase terms. The product was purchased from a contracted reseller of the producer, which is confirmed by Dr. R[redacted] via email.  I am still outstanding for a full refund and reimbursement for costs incurred.  John V[redacted], Executive DirectorThe [redacted] Company
