Mazda of West Ridge Ridge RdWest Spencerport, NY ###-###-#### 4/10/ On 12/31/14, [redacted] took delivery of a [redacted] from [redacted] of West Ridge She also purchased an [redacted] [redacted] extended service contract On 2/8/14, [redacted] returned to our dealership because the vehicle’s “check engine” light and “check gas cap” message were on The vehicle was evaluated at [redacted] of West Ridge and determined to have an evaporative emission system failure We were unable to fully diagnose the problem due to specialized equipment being needed and determined that the vehicle would have to be taken to a [redacted] facility An appointment was made for 2/19/at Doan Dodge/ [redacted] /Jeep There was no charge to [redacted] for this visit On 2/19/14, [redacted] dropped the vehicle off at [redacted] of West Ridge and was provided a complimentary loaner vehicle for two days while the vehicle was sublet by us to Doan Dodge/ [redacted] /Jeep for diagnosis Doan diagnosed the issue as a faulty evaporative emission system charcoal canister The part was installed by [redacted] of West Ridge and the check engine light was reset The gas cap warning message cannot be reset and needs to be cleared by driving the vehicle All diagnosis and repairs during this visit were fully covered by [redacted] of West Ridge and there was no charge to [redacted] On 2/26/14, [redacted] returned to our dealership stating that the “check engine light” and “check gas cap” message were still on [redacted] was provided a complimentary loaner vehicle The vehicle was once again sublet to Doan Dodge/ [redacted] /Jeep for diagnosis Doan stated that the evaporative emission system failure was due to a faulty fuel pump This repair was covered by [redacted] ’s [redacted] and was performed at [redacted] of West Ridge [redacted] normally would have been responsible for a $deductible but this was waived by [redacted] of West Ridge due to the circumstances involved There was no charge to *** [redacted] for this visit On 3/15/14, [redacted] returned to our dealership stating that when attempting to put fuel in her vehicle, the gas pump would shut off repeatedly She stated that this happened several times at several different gas stations A technician evaluated the evaporative emission system and once again determined that the diagnosis would have to be completed by a [redacted] facility Rather than arranging a sublet, we informed *** [redacted] n that it might be more convenient for her to take the vehicle directly to Doan herself and that her [redacted] would be honored there if it was a covered repair [redacted] agreed to this and we scheduled the appointment with Doan for her The vehicle was taken to Doan on 3/25/and they diagnosed the issue as a faulty fuel filler neck and gas cap and it was determined that this repair was not a covered item under [redacted] ’s service contract They charged [redacted] $ for diagnosis and $for a rental vehicle for a total of $with tax On 3/31/14, our service advisor, [redacted] , called [redacted] and informed her that we would be reimbursing her for the full amount charged to her by Doan and that we would perform the recommended repair at our facility at no charge to her On 4/3/14, [redacted] dropped her vehicle off with us and was provided with a complimentary loaner vehicle while repairs were made The repair was completed on 4/8/and at the present time we are test driving the vehicle for several days to ensure that the repair is complete and that [redacted] will have no further problems related to the current issue with the vehicle’s evaporative emission system [redacted] has our assurances that we will do whatever we need to do to correct this problem at no charge to her [redacted] Service Manager Mazda of West Ridge

[redacted] extended service contract. 
On 2/8/14, [redacted] returned to our dealership because the vehicle’s “check engine” light and “check gas cap” message were on.  The vehicle was evaluated at [redacted] of West Ridge and determined to have an evaporative emission system failure.  We were unable to fully diagnose the problem due to specialized equipment being needed and determined that the vehicle would have to be taken to a [redacted] facility.  An appointment was made for 2/19/14 at Doan Dodge/[redacted]/Jeep.   There was no charge to [redacted] for this visit.

On 3/31/14, our service advisor, [redacted], called [redacted] and informed her that we would be reimbursing her for the full amount charged to her by Doan and that we would perform the recommended repair at our facility at no charge to her. 
On 4/3/14, [redacted] dropped her vehicle off with us and was provided with a complimentary loaner vehicle while repairs were made.  The repair was completed on 4/8/14 and at the present time we are test driving the vehicle for several days to ensure that the repair is complete and that [redacted] will have no further problems related to the current issue with the vehicle’s evaporative emission system.  [redacted] has our assurances that we will do whatever we need to do to correct this problem at no charge to her.
