WARNING: If your are considering buying a new or used vehicle, do NOT patronize Transit Town Dodge....the sales people are truly unknowledgeable as well as the pieces of crap in the service areaI took my vehicle in for a recall on the high-pressure power steering hoseThe vehicle sat untouched for over a week because the incompetent fools in the service deptnever ordered the part when promisedWhen I finally got the car back, the hood was improperly closed because the mns forgot to put the air cleaner housing back properlyOn my way home, the car began running very poorly and wanted to stall (the "service" light came on).....I had no choice to take it home because it was later on a Saturday afternoonUpon getting it home, I checked it with the OBDII scanner and it was a code for the EGRI then discovered that the piece of crap mechanic never hooked the EGR system back up (wires & lines were left unplugged & un-mounted)The next day I discovered a puddle under the car and found that while they were installing the high-pressure hose, they broke one of the small metal lines on the rack & pinionOn that Monday, I called Transit Town and they had me bring it back to themThey put it on the lift and then told me that the mechanic who did the work didn't break the lineThey absolutely did break it as it was right near where the other line connected (probably a wrench hit it while removing the old hose)So, they said I could spend about $to have a new rack & pinion installed or I was out of luckSo I left with a car that was worse than when it was brought in in the first placeThe parts manager & the service manager were actually very rudeI will NEVER do business with them ever again and will do my best to educate people about never doing business with them eitherI even called back the [redacted] Hotline and explained to them what happenedThey tried to get a hold of Transit Town and they refused to answer their questionsThe recall center told me that they would be black-listed in their dealer booksBottom line is I was screwed over and I didn't enjoy itI also know of some people who bought cars from them over the years and had lots of other problems with themUnfortunately for me, it was too late when I found this outDon't make the same mistakes....Stay away from them.....they are crooks!!! P.S.--I would recommend staying away from all the Transit Town dealers as I have since heard that they pretty much function the same wayCustomer service is non-existentThey scam & cheat their customers anyway they can!!! There are a lot of complaints arising from the Transit Town dealerships!

Bad Transitowne Dodge Jeep Experience As you may know, I just purchased a new Jeep WranglerI selected to purchase a Jeep Wrangler from Transitowne Jeep on Transit, one that the new Sales rep said the radio had Bluetooth phone connectivityThis option was critical to my purchase decisionWe agreed on a price and went through the paperwork and finance and I purchased the vehicle After the purchase, I went to my new Wrangler and started it upI asked how to pair the Bluetooth and the SrSales rep, his 'mentor', said "Oh, this doesn't have Bluetooth, but it can be installed"It was almost 8pm and I had been there since ~3p so I was eager to get home and left The next day the sales rep called and said that they could install the Bluetooth, and they'd pay half, the total being around $I told him that the best I could do was my half being $The rep called me back and said it was doable, that the parts were ~$and they'd take care of the labor/install/ We made an appointment to get it installed I write this review now in the service area during my appointment after being told that after talking to his manager they can't do that, and we'll have to split the total cost, no labor being included, with a total of about $I'll now have to pay ~$ I realize that I'm technically getting a "deal" (if you'd call it that) because normally the price would have been more to purchase the vehicle I feel as if this otherwise great purchase has been tarnished I feel as though they should have honored at least one of two promises that they made, that it's either included in the agreed upon price or $more I need the option for my job, being on the road for work and needing to take calls hands-freeI'm not happy with this experience, and being out extra money, and this review is my recourse

He was just part of a much bigger problemTheir statement that the financing was explained to us accurately is a total and complete lie! Over and over again we were told by the salesman and the finance manager we had numerous institutions from which to choose from regarding our financing optionsAgain not trueThe sales manager was totally useless and should have addressed this when it blew up on them in the show roomAs far as we are concerned they are completely fraudulent in their business practices and even after all this was exposed they are unable to admit faultWe also found out we were one of the "lucky" customers charged $for a tank of gasThe Attorney General of NY has fined them for this and they are allegedly sending refunds to everybody they took advantage of with this For the Revdex.com to still have this business receiving a positive rating is not rightThey will be waiting for their next victim to take advantage of and screw out of their hard earned money as well Regards, [redacted] ***

At this point in time, the vehicle in question has been repaired to the customer's satisfaction We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this repair has caused We have repaired the vehicle as directed per Hyundai's warranty After speaking with the customer, Transitowne Hyundai considers this case closed Yours truly, [redacted] Service Manager Transitowne Hyundai

There is no way to dispute the hard pulls on my credit with the bureaus I have tried but the only option I can dispute is incorrect information about accounts This does not fall in that category, but I was told that the pulls could be removed if the original creditor removes them [redacted] ***

October 27, ID [redacted] Dear [redacted] ; [redacted] vehicle was purchased 5/21/At the time of purchase the vehicle had 80,miles and is covered under New York State Law for days or 1,milesThe failure of the part was more than months later and over 4,milesIt is unfortunate that the vehicle component failed, but it was not from neglect of Transitowne, but more than likely unfortunate circumstanceThere are no prior concerns regarding the vehicle's differential and is simply a component failure.We offer all of our customers extended service contracts, but in this particular case due to limitations on her loan, her only option was to pay for the warranty separatelyAt this place in time the vehicle repairs are the owner responsibilityAny lost wages or travel expenses are her responsibility even in the event she had a service contract on the vehicleIn a gesture of good will, Transitowne will pay $towards the repair once receipts are sent to our Used Vehicle Manager [redacted] Transitowne cannot repair the vehicle out of warranty with the risk of an implied warrantySincerely; [redacted] Vice PresidentTransitowne Automotive

Hello., I have not been contacted by the dealership about car repairs or rental reimbursement All I continue to receive are post cards offering me to tramy vehicle in which I cannot do at the time for financial reasonAttached is a copy of the car repairs paid out of pocket on 9/24/ I was advised by [redacted] that it was ok to take it to a local dealership ti be covered under my extended warranty When I called [redacted] and advised him the parts were not covered, I was advised if I would have brought it to Transitowne these parts would have been covered- yet he advised me I can take it anywhereAlso attached is a copy of the car rental invoice in which as courtesy was to be paid for since I have taken my car back over times for repairsAt this point I am asking if not all can be paid, to at least reimburse half of each receiptPlease let me know if you have anymore questions are need more detailsSincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] at Transitowne and he stated that he is willing to fix the back up sensor and waive the $deductible The consumer states that the car was priced more than advertised The car was sold to her for $17,and with taxes and DMV fees the final cost was $19,and she also owed from a previous loan which was added on to her new loan bringing the loan amount to just over $21,000.00.The vehicle was purchased in November, and if the customer would have contacted me, I would have assisted her sooner

Dear [redacted] , arial;">Miss [redacted] and I have been in communication since early last week I arranged a service appointment with our Transitowne service facility, in Clarence, NY, to have Miss [redacted] 's concerns diagnosed on 8/4/ After a lengthy discussion with the technician performing the diagnosis, we determined the vehicle should be sent to our Transitowne Jeep dealership at Transit Rd, Williamsville, NY, for further diagnosis I was able to get Miss [redacted] an appointment at our Jeep service department two days later, August 6th As of today, the part needed to eliminate the noise coming from the rear of the vehicle arrived I arranged an appointment scheduled for August 11th at Transitowne Jeep for Miss [redacted] to return for repair of the rear toe link Any additional concerns will be addressed at that time I promised Miss [redacted] a full tank of gas to compensate for her inconvenience Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions concerning this complaint Thank you, [redacted] General Sales Manager
