use *** Pro Demand and Identifx for diagnostic flow charts to check for TSBs, wiring diagnostics and mechanical diagnostics as required by the stateAfter performing the diagnostic it was determined that the throttle body was the cause of the stored codes and the customer was advised for needed repairsVehicle returned on 07/24/2015, mileage XXXXXX with P2176, P2135, Pupon which a diagnostic was performed based upon flow charts as stated beforeIt was determined that the throttle body was defective and was replaced under warrantyVehicle returned on 08/18/2015, mileage XXXXXX for check engine light diagnostic and found P0171, P0174, PAfter performing diagnostics found a vacuum leak behind intake manifold and recommended performing repair to fix check engine lightAfter repair and test drive code Preturned and diagnostic was performed finding no problem was found in systemCalled Identifix and started a case (#XXXXXXX) and was advised to electrical enhancer (rewire) throttle position sensor circuitAfter test drive problem did not returnVehicle returned on 09/14/mileage XXXXXX with P2176, P2135, P2119, Pafter performing a diagnostic and test drive was unable to duplicate customers concernWe called Identifix and was advised to replace connector to throttle body and run all new wiring to computer to which we did as a goodwill to the customerCustomer has been contacted several times to check up and we have been told every time that they have had no other problems with the vehicle at this time
All work performed in our shop comes with a month 12,mile warranty unless otherwise stated on repair orderAt no point did we charge the customer multiple times for any one repair and all documentation is kept to verify why we did what we didI know it is hard for someone untrained in the technology to understand the process that is taken to fix cars due to the complexity of electrical systems and therefore we stay up to date in training and certification for this reason
I apologize for any inconvenience experienced by this situation but we stand by our repairs and know that everything done was needed
No refund will be issued due to the fact that the vehicle has been repaired and is now out of warranty due to mileage
