Seller will not submit refund as agreed upon after the return of defective parts.
Upon installing the TCM assembly I purchased for $440 from Valvebody Factory, my mechanic found several issues with the product. The part was defective, unable to accept programing and incompatible with my vehicle.Keep in mind the company themselves select the product based off the vehicles year make and mode to insure a proper fit; taking error out of the hands of consumers.

I contact the owner, tell him the situation, and he agrees to send another part; reaffirming my vehicle information. Additionally, he said he didn't need the defective part back; which I thought was strange. Keep in mind this is a company that supposedly remanufactures TCM assemblies.

The second product arrived with more of the same issues; defective, unable to accept programming and incompatible with my car. My mechanic became understandably frustrated and refused to use anymore products from the seller. This ordeal took over 2 weeks.

I inform the seller of this latest development. After some discussion he agreed to a refund minus a small restocking fee but he wouldn't charge for shipping. I didn't like it as the parts were faulty on his end and not just a simple return. I spent the next week trying to get his shipping information as all throughout this transaction he has been difficult to contact.

I finally get the owners shipping information and send the products back. Once tracking revealed the products had been delivered. I awaited my refund. I wait an additional 24 hours before contacting him again. He tells me he'll send the refund right after the call, Again no refund. I contact him the next day, same story, no refund.

The following day same thing only this Time he changes his refund story and says he's keeping $140 to himself adding excuses like he needs to make back on his shipping. This is all after stating he would not charge me for his shipping expenses. (nor should he) This is 32% of what it cost me to buy it. Not including the cost to ship it back. Not withstanding the fact that my cars been sitting for over a month because of his faulty products and lack of contact.On top of all this I still haven't even received that.

Desired Outcome

My car has been sitting for over a month because of his faulty products and poor contact availability. As such I have been without reliable transportation for such time. I have shipped his products back out of pocket. The owner has received them without damage. I had to purchase a brand new replacement part for $621.24 because my mechanic as well as myself have zero confidence in his product. I am requesting nothing more than the full refund amount I initially paid for the product $439.90.

We sent the buyer a perfect item.6-1-20 He claims he couldn't get it to work with his VEHICLE.
We offered him a replacement X-XX-XX providing he uses a transmission rebuilding shop for installation
Buyer received and installed poorly again my items and did not use a transmission rebuilding shop this voids our lifetime warranty.
We do not give refunds, exchange only
Lifetime warranty on all items

Refund policy:: Valvebody Factory we strive to provide the parts you need for your car or your auto business. I cannot refund items, but they may be eligible for an exchange. If a part arrives damaged from shipping please notify within 48 hours of receiving it so I can send you a replacement. It is recommended that you double-check your order before placing it. I am not responsible for incorrect orders. You may call or email to verify that the part you want is for the correct vehicle. The transmission number should be located on the vehicles door tag. Please keep in mind that the vehicles sometimes have multiple issues. Therefore, I am not responsible for the part not fixing the entire issue. To reduce this possibility, I recommend hiring an experienced transmission technician to install the parts

Before we purchased this item, we called and asked if the item needed to be programmed for the vehicle. The store said no, you just plug it in and go.
We plugged in this part into the vehicle, and found that it has not been programmed for the truck.
It will cost $210 to program through a dealership, so we called the owner and told him this. He said he would cover half the cost.
I emailed him to find out how he will be reimbursing us for the programming charge and now he is telling me it is our responsibility.
We spent $550+ on this part and were given incorrect information.
