I recently visited Transmission Giant Incfor what I thought was going to be a costly transmission repair***, the ***, greeted me, and asked me to explain the symptoms I was experiencing with the carAfter a brief discussion, *** said, “Doesn’t sound like a tranny problem, but let’s take a closer look.” After a visual inspection, *** attached a specialized code reader to the car, and the problem turned out to be a malfunctioning module (whatever that is)*** explained everything to me, fully, and I approved the repair before he performed any workWhile I was there, I decided that a transmission service was also in order*** agreed, but was not pressuring me, yet pointed out a seal was leakingI felt the price for the transmission service was more than reasonable, (cheap actually), and the transmission service was necessary, (actually, long overdue)Like so many other motorists, transmission service is an area of automotive maintenance that I have often neglectedThis oversight, or neglect, often leads to unexpected breakdowns, and very costly repairsHere, an ounce of prevention goes a long, long wayI got lucky, since they discovered a leak in a seal that could have led to a total destruction of the transmissionBesides, I was now confident that I was in good, honest, knowledgeable and reliable hands
After receiving the necessary repair parts, they were expertly, installedThe car was then road testedI was more than happy with the repair, and was ready to be on my way However, *** had some trepidations and was uncomfortable with the resultsI thought the car ran fine, yet, who am I to argue with the experts? Intuitively, *** felt there was a defect in one of the parts ordered, even though there was no apparent indication of a malfunction*** asked me to be a bit more patient, so that he could repeat the repair with newly ordered parts
After installing new parts, for a second time, the car was road tested, and *** was now confident with the repair*** then pointed out that I should have the shock absorbers replaced, since they were leakingCuriously, I had them replaced just a few months earlier at a different repair shop*** pointed out that they should still be under warrantyI opted to replace them with a more heavy-duty varietyA few weeks later, I ordered specialty shock absorbers, and contacted Transmission Giant, to inquire if they would install these special shocksThankfully, they agreed
Again, the repair was quick, efficient, and inexpensiveThe car was road tested, and I am elated with the results
The reasonableness of the repair bill was impressive, being much less than anticipatedBoth times, the crew worked hard and long on the carBuilt for both on-road and off-road use, this car comes with its own inherent, repair challenges***’s automotive knowledge shined brilliantly, saving me what could have potentially cost me thousands of dollars
