Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below When the person talked to me on the phone from the business, even after repeated inquiries as to potential charges, it was not stated that there would be a charge for the towing if repairs were not done at the business When I was told the repair costs for the vehicle once the vehicle arrived, I said that I was not interested in those repairs and then was told about the towing charge that I had to pay for the car to be released Later, I was also told about a $per day holding fee for the vehicle on top of the towing charge which was not explained upfront in any of the earlier conversations When I was trying to decide whether to go to the facility or not, I told the onsite manage of Transmissions Plus that other mechanics had briefly looked at it and said the vehicle had serious damage and was likely unrepairable economicallyHe talked me into allowing him to towing the car to Transmissions Plus by stating that there would be no charges and that they would do diagnostics, even though others were convinced it was already scrapBy doing so, he reduced significantly the amount of money via the towing and holding fees that the car would bring Regards, [redacted]

The customer came back in and we took care of the issues he had to the best of our knowledge

Spent $2600 for a used transmission and clutch repair. Their clutch repair lasted less than 10 miles and they wouldn't stand behind their work. Owner said he would fix it for an extra charge. Initially he said he could only find one transmission for the car which would be $1200 I got on the Internet and found 5 the first place I looked and one was in new condition having 5000 miles on a rebuilt one that would have been $600 that included shipping by a 99.5% seller but they insisted on using the $1200 one (what does that tell you). Took 3 weeks to get it back for the 10 mile ride. The new garage that towed knew exactly who I was talking about without me telling them their name. They laughted told me numerous stories about transmission plus. My advise is don't use this garage...... they give others a bad name.

The customer was told that we have free towing with repairs.  We have the conversation recorded.  We will be glad to REPLAY the call to the customer.
 
The customer will be charged $20 a day for storage from today forward.

We tell all customers free towing with repairs, we do diagnostics free.

The customer came back in and we took care of the issues he had to the best of our knowledge.
