I am rejecting this response because: Information is intentionaly misleading.1) Yes I agree the first check we sent came basck NSF. That was on MAy 6 , 2014 when it he received the retuyrned check . Remember at this point the transmission is stillin his possesion. On May 7th we ovenighted a certified check in the amount of 1510.00 to cover the transmission and overdraft fees. At that point I was informed that we still owed him $50.00 b4 he would ship trtansmission  to us.  So we then sent him another cashiers check for $50.00   On May 19th he e-mailed me that he was now paid in full ,but that he hadnt ordered the torque converter yet and therfore woiuld not be able to ship the transmission.  We then waited 3 weeks no transmission. I called him again , he said the torque converte was on back order but shoul be in soon. I waited approximatly another three weeks no transmission, called him once again, he said he was out of the country on vacation, I voiced my disappointment in his service, he then stated quiote arrogantly that if Ididnt want to wait he would send me my money back (keep in mind ipaid the $350.00 to ship the transmission to him) I decided to wait opnce again untill he returned from vacation. My transmission eventually arrived  sometime aound August 2014, By the time I got it over to my local Mechanic and installaed it was close to September.    THe transmission worked great untill it just stopped on Dec. 21. 21014, I notified JR the next day , had the truck towed to my mechanic, In the meantime bought another truck and continued running my business, told my mechanisc who is very busy that it was no rush because I had another truck . By the time he got it out and we crated it up my friends at JR received it about 2 weeks ago. .  However per thier acknowledgemnet the transmission worked from August to Dec. .  TJR claims that if read his waranty I will note that it does not cover the new pump that he installed. This is thier way out of covering their warranty. The Trnsmission pump is the foundatiojn of a good transmission, crppy cheap pump porr transmission performance. Anytime a transmission in warranty fails all they have to say is that it was the pump therfore it is not covered by the warranty, I have no proff what it was, furthermore that would be essentilally the same thing as buying a house and being told that the whole house is under warranty, oh, except for the foundation, , what a load excrement that is.   As far as his core he was supposed to send a return label , called him for one, he never sent it, I sure dont have any use for an old transmission , all it is doing is taking up room in my yard. He can have it whenever he wants.

I am rejecting this response because: He didn't address any of the issues at hand.  This is now a proven fact that he has no ethical business practices. He is a scamming company that doesn't want to take corrective actions for his mistakes that effect the customers.  I used two curse words in one email (mind you that weren't directed to him so it's not abusive language he needs to look up the definition in a dictionary) and that's abusive towards him ironically just another excuse for him to lack acceptance for his actions.  I also did state I would sell the core and the wrong part because he was negligent in wanting to correct the problem by replacing the incorrect part in the first place. I enclosed every email that will show you how he stated he needed an address to ship the replacement part to it was sent the day that he asked for it. It also shows one week later I sent another email requesting information about the part that needs to be exchanged. Where he proclaims that I never sent him my shipping information and then proceeded to tell me to ship the wrong part back at my cost. When it clearly states in the history I was suppose to enclose the wrong part with the shipment back with the core. He is now trying to back peddle and not take responsibility for his poor business ethics.  He is trying to blame the customer for his mistake in the first place and his lack of integrity to correct the problem that resulted from his lack of ability to provide the correct service the first time.

I am rejecting this response because:It would cost me 400 dollars to have the transmission removed and 400 dollars to have it shipped. It did not work day one why would I pay that much money to send something back to him that had all these problems and worn out parts as pictures show with less than 300 miles on transmission. Up graded torque converter never installed as ordered, this transmission was never rebuilt as advertised in his so called home page.

Response:Perhaps you should ask the customer why he only sent 3 or the 13 emails between us. I can tell you why because of the abusive language and because he wanted to keep the old transmission core and was told fine, keep it and sell it to cover the cost of the converter and other $50.00 he...

wanted. Funny he only chose to sent you what he wanted you to see. Thanks, Transmission Specialist

Response:Customer knew the transmission and torque converter was what he bought from us was only covered by warranty. Without the transmission there is no way to determine if there is even a problem the the transmission. He did receive the converter he was sold, not sure what he is talking about. Transmission Specialist of Tome River

I am rejecting this response because: Company lied about rebuilding transmission as seen from the bill to have same transmission repaired. He also lied about torque converter being an up grade which it definitely was not.

I realize nothing is going to happen, I just want Revdex.com to know this company is not a responsible business and it preys on customers with its small print warranty that no one reads when purchasing a large item expected to be honestly repaired. I am of the belief it was sent unrepaired in hopes I would spend the additional money to have it removed and sent back. It was defective on day one.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:When we purchased this transmission, the owner/company "J.R." knew we would be installing the transmission ourselves. We have decades of experience with transmissions and automobile repair. The transmission was installed WITHOUT DAMAGE and operated the vehicle immediately but only in third and fourth gears. Had there been any damage to the shaft during installation, the pump would have also been damaged and the vehicle would have failed to run any more than 5 miles. After attempting to speak with J.R. about the issue, and he hung up on us multiple times, we drove our vehicle to a transmission shop for a second opinion who confirmed that not only was the wrong transmission sent to us for our vehicle, but it also had internal build problems. J.R. would not and will not communicate with our professional technician at the transmission shop regarding the condition of his defective transmission, nor will he participate in mediation through the local administrative levels in New Jersey. He required that I ship the unit back to him for evaluation, which was absolutely subjective. He is lying about the condition of the transmission and we have proof that what he says is not only incorrect but physically impossible. J.R. has both the bad transmission and my money. Obviously I do not want the bad unit back...we have since rebuilt our original transmission, installed it ourselves and it is working great. I want my money refunded and for this company to take accountability for their poor ethics. J.R., this company's representative is condescending, unprofessional, and has no integrity.

Review: I ordered a transmission for my truck from Transmission Specialists of Tom River. Well it started out as an acceptable business transaction, other than the fact I was quoted one price on the telephone and another by email. Which [redacted] Stated he would included the $50 difference with my transmission when it was shipped. That never happened he neglected to up hold to that refund. After I get the truck tore apart I notice the Torque Converter he sent was the wrong product. I contacted him last Monday 27 April 2015. He acknowledged I received the incorrect part because I included photographic pictures of the incorrect part. He sent me an email asking for my shipping information. I gave it to him and stated the Torque converter was being shipped and just send the wrong one back with the transmission. I contacted him again today 04 May 2015 asking for a tracking number of the Torque Converter. He stated until I sent the wrong one back to him via UPS he wasn't sending the replacement part contradicting his email correspondence. I have all conversations saved in email to back up my complaint against this company, I will be glad to turn this over to the Revdex.com as evidence of his unethical business practices. Which I am sure he doesn't stand behind his product anyways from the way he acts.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the torque converter and a partial refund on the transmission for lost time and income from his unethical business practices, I am losing money everyday my truck isn't operational.

Review: ordered a supposed rebuilt e40q transmission with up grade torque converter in Sept 2014 for 1295.00 USDs. On Oct 9th I let TR Transmissions know the transmission was faulty. Trouble started when I received an e mail my warranty was Null and void because they never received their core back. Because of shipping problems it was delivered late per their 14 day return agreement in fine print that no body reads. I then asked if warranty was back on and they replied yes but I would have to pay 400 dollars to have it removed again and 400 to ship and return it. I took my truck to local transmission dealer costing me an additions 2145.11 USD. Finding was no ugrade torque converter, old gaskets, burnt friction clutches, front oil pump bad, input shell badly notched etc. Evidence to show transmission was never rebuilt as per advertising. I had drove the truck less than 300 miles from time of supposed rebuild. I have pictures of the damaged transmission, and all e mails of events if needed.

Response:Not sure what his complaint is. Heard from him in March and he was told to send the transmission back to be inspected and repaired under the terms of the warranty. He knew all warranty work was to be performed at our location prior to buying from us. He chose to bring it somewhere else to be repaired. That was his decision to make. Thanks Transmission Specialist

Review: I believe my letter to Toms sums up my complaints

I would like to thank you for your lack of service. First of all you took 3 months to rebuild a transmission that you stated would take 3 weeks. You did not rebuild my transmission, the core is still here. You sold me a transmission that you had rebuilt in your shop. The transmission has lasted a whole 3 months of the 12 month warranty, however it is not covered by the warranty because your warranty does not cover the transmission pump which you supplied, now you want another 700.00 to repair a transmission that I paid 1500 for that lasted 3 months. Your service is great and believe me you will receive glowing reports on the internet, Revdex.com and elsewhere.

Now he's telling me if I dont come get the transmission that he refusese to honor his warranty on, hes going to charge me for storage. LOL he's deffinantly got.

Thanks Again for your professional service and standing behind your product.
