I submitted a complaint last year with the same company and same problem. I been without heat for 2 months. I submitted quite a few maintenance requests which they closed not knowing if the issue was fixed. There was a maintenance guy who came out four times. The first time he came to look around my house to see what needs to be fixed. He fixed my washer and dryer unit, my bedroom window and he looked upstairs in my attic because I have racoons and squirrels living in it, he looked at my furance and said it was a fuse that needed to be replaced that was one visit, he replaced the fire and carbon detectors that was the second visit and then he came and fixed some pieces that was falling off my porch, when I told him my furance never came back on he came out and looked at it and this time he said it was the motherboard that needed to be replaced that was the last visit. I submitted another request on 12/5/18 stating I still dont have heat. The receptionist called asking me about rent which I feel like I shouldn't have to pay since I've been sleeping in a 50 degree house. There's no since of urgency at all. I have animals in my attic which I complain about for a year and now I'm without heat again. The only source of heat I have is two space heaters and my stove in which my bill has sky rocketed and now facing a shut off notice. I don't know what else to do at this point. Can you help me?
This seems to be a difficult tenant as this is not the first time we are experiencing this issue. As she stated Transnational has multiple attempts to service all issues within her home. Once work orders are submitted as she stated in her complaint our office assign a contractor to address her issues. There have been contractors stating that her schedule is very conflicting and she does not answer phone calls or return messages. This is why her issues are if ever not addressed immediately. It seems as this is a routine for this tenant to receive some sort of rental concession. The tenant also has not given written permission for one of our contractors to make any repairs while she is not present in the home either. If the tenant Ms. can have a set date and time for these repairs to be completed Transnational can have the contractors service her furnace and make any additional repairs needed at this time. Also we have noticed that the tenant has failed to pay rent for the month of December. Transnational will also give the tenant the option to vacate the rental unit without any eviction proceedings if she vacates by December 31,2018 and return keys to the unit and have the unit broom swept and in a clean condition, Ms. will have the security deposit refunded to her within 30 days of her move-out if applicable (If no additional deductions and charges are necessary.)
