Review: I found this company on ebay and called and spoke with [redacted] to order a transmission rebuild kit for my sons 1992 chevy pick up on February 21, 2014. After I received this kit I took the truck and the kit to a certified chevy transmission repair shop in Dallas, Tx. [redacted] transmissions [redacted] was the owner he personally rebuild the transmission on March 7 and I picked it up on March 13, 2014 within 2 weeks the governor cap came off while driving down the road and so I loaded the truck back up on a trailer and took it back to[redacted] and [redacted] transmissions. He tore the transmission back apart and discovered the filter that Transparts Warehouse sold me was a defective filter the filter was overstuffed with foam causing the fluid not to be able to circulate through the transmission causing pressure to build and blowing the governor cover off. I talked to [redacted] at Transpart Warehouse and he told me he could not warranty the part because it was a human error the transmission guy put the filter on to tight. There are no screws the filter snaps in there's nothing to tighten. When I picked the truck up from having the transmission rebuilt again on April 22, 2014 [redacted] at [redacted] transmission called and spoke with [redacted] who said he has never had a defective filter and there was no way that could happen and [redacted] explained to him that it is and had happened before a couple of years ago there was a bad batch of filters from China and this has happened he has seen it. [redacted] said he would have to talk to his owner [redacted] so he left his information for [redacted] to call him. [redacted] called me later that afternoon and said he heard back from Transparts warehouse and again he explained what had happened and they agreed to call me and make it right. When I called them April 23, 2014 they still refuse to take care of the defective filter. I have put a call in several times for the owner [redacted] to call me and he still has not nor is he ever in the office to take my call.Desired Settlement: I am out $204.45 from the rebuild kit and $350.00 for labor the first time and another $652.89 to have a new rebuild kit and labor to have it done again. I would like them to reimburse me $652.89 for the parts and labor the second time I had to have it rebuilt. I can provide the defective filter and phone number to [redacted] transmission if verification is needed.
