Hello, I am strongly disappointed with EasyCareI have a tire protection planYesterday I got a big construction nail in the tireI when to [redacted] -where I did enroll for EasyCare- to learn that they cannot use EasyCare as the specific tire I have on my vehicle are not suggested tires by [redacted] !??? Then I was to the shop who did install the tires last yearOh, they do not deal with EasyCare:-Too complicated, too much problemThen I was to ANOTHER shop: Same answer !! So basically I purchase an plan I cannot even use !? What a scam, don't you think ? What should I do instead of just canceling my plan and certainly ask my money back because this is nothing than a joke and money wasting

My new for me vehicle presented me with a check engine light after a few months of useI took it in to the local dealer, who diagnosed a few issues which I thought were minorHowever the total cost was a bit over $The dealership contacted Easy Care who also contacted me for verbal confirmation of the issues, then they approved the repairs.\r\n\r\nI was surprised by having to pay for the taxes and the disposal fees but all in all was very happy with the process and the resultsNote that I opted for the Total Care program with a $deductible as I was looking at this contract as protection against major failures and for peace of mind\r\n\r\nI certainly hope that I will not need this coverage in the future, but am very happy that EasyCare helped out in this case; and should the need arise, I hope to have other positive responsesThey certainly lived up to their part of the contract.\r\n\r\nMy only negative is that the dealer who sold it to me should have stated clearly that the taxes and disposal fees would not be coveredPerhaps I would have opted for a lower deductible

My experience with Easycare was not good. It seemed to me their actions were designed solely to avoid paying a claim. Their reasoning was without proper explaination and very one sided.I would strongly recommend looking for a different warranty company. Easycare is not a warranty service I could recommend.

Long story so I'll focus on key areas. Purchased a used car from Mini Cooper Las Vegas. Purchased the stated care coverage from Mini Cooper using easycare. A week later I got a call from Mini Cooper of Vegas to come back and sign more documents as the original apr quoted was changed (lowered) now that Wells Fargo took the loan. I signed a second set of contract papers in addition to the first set and at this point the finance manager put another warranty in front of me and said the bank wouldn't approve the loan unless I got this additional warranty for tire and wheel care from safeguard. He told me if I really don't want it to come back in 2 months and cancel. 2 months later I requested to cancel via the dealership by phone. They sent me the "cancelation request". I signed it and emailed it back to the dealership. After a week I followed up and was sent to voicemail with the finance manager Alexa d[redacted] of Mini Cooper/auto nation. I left a message and received no call back. So 2 weeks later I left another message, 2 weeks after that another message, a week after that asked to hold for her until she was available and waited 30 minutes to be told she WILL call me back if I leave a message so I did and no call back. On and on for about a 2-3 month span of time I left 6 messages for Alexa d[redacted] and 2 messages for floor managers. All with no responses. At this time my check engine light came on and the paint on the door strip of my 2007 Tahoe became extremely oxidized within a 7 month period of purchasing this car. I took matters into my own hands and found the warranty company myself and placed a call to cancel my tire and wheel care warranty. The rep told me I HAD to send In a formal cancelation paper with a signature on it from the dealership- which I had on my persons at home. So I emailed the copy of this formal cancelations request only I sent it to the wrong warranty company. I sent it to easy care power train/ stated care rather than sending it to safeguard tire and wheel care. I went to mini of Vegas and complained about how I've gotten no call back from anyone - finance manager, floor manager - no one. At this point they made Alexa d[redacted] give me her cell phone number and agreed to paint the oxidized strip of paint for free and set up an appointment to have my check engine taken care of by my stated care coverage from easycare. By the ending of the day the dealership called me back saying the warranty was canceled. I called easy care and found out they didn't even check the piece of paper called a "cancelation form" to see legally it was made out to safeguard tire and wheel care and not easy care. The rep got so frustrated arguing with me about his that she attempted to put me on hold but didn't and told her coworker "this guy better shut up before I shoot him" on a recorded line. I asked for the manager and the manager heard the call and fired the rep. At this point I said I wanted my warranty back the had no cancelation request saying I wanted easy care canceled they had one saying I wanted safeguard canceled. They said not until I send the money they refunded me back. Well the problem is they sent that money to my car loan and I don't have $2400 laying around, furthermore they need to review all documents or cancelation requests coming in not just blindly cancel without looking of the cancelation request. I could have sent in my sons homework with my name in it. I could have sent in a Costco receipt. I could have sent them toilet paper, blank. So now the manager Michelle D[redacted] apologizes for the threat from her rep saying I better shut up before she shoots me. But says she won't do anything to remedy the situation so I took to Twitter and found the Ceo Larry D[redacted] and posted a few tweets about what I could (Twitter gives you like 150 characters per tweet- hardly enough to say much) and I got him to call me. Speaking to him in the beginning he was acting as if he was in my side agreeing with me on things but by the end of the convo I started to see by his verbiage that it's all an act and he's going to do what's best for him and his small corporation. He looked into it and told me he and his people couldn't even find a document I sent for cancelation. The document with safeguard written in it that didn't even belong to easycare/ yeah that cancelations request paper he said they don't have any record of it. I have him saying this in email so it's recorded documented text written by the veto of this company. By the bed of this situation he said he won't reinstate the contract so I asked for my money back ( the difference between the $2400 they sent my car loan company and the $2900 I payed for this originally. I had to endure a lot of abuse to get back the money for a service I didn't even get. I have the ceo Larry D[redacted] on recorded email transcript saying "I'm sending the money back to you not because we owe it to you but CLEARLY YOU NEED IT" like as if I'm a homeless guy who is scrounging fo

EasyCare is great they paid for my slipping transmission to be repaired. Without them I would have paid $4500 but instead used a rental car for the week it was fixed and paid my $250 deductible. It's works
