We would never intentionally sell a car with engine problems or any major problems. We send all our cars through a...

mechanic before they are sold. When we were made aware that there was an issue with her car, we told her to take the car to our mechanic so he could diagnosis the problem and let us know what needed to be done to fix it. She never took the car to our mechanic. She was going to be called as soon as we heard from our mechanic. But we couldn't call her because we had no new news to tell her. If she had done as we asked, this would not be an issue.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/11/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Your response Transportation Jewels has major flaws as does your car. 1st of all from day one of you being informed that the car had major issues you NEVER ONCE called me back. I called anytime a conversation took place as well as YOUR Mechanic. After speaking with your mechanic and I quote his words it was pointless to bring the car to him it needed a new engine. On the day which he would be available on Friday morning 10/30/15 he never answered his phone for me or supposedly transportation jewels. Julie said she was sending Josh to Greg to speak to him personally. However when I called on Saturday 10/31/15 I spoke with Josh who had no clue whatsoever what I was speaking of he didn't even know the car was messed up according him. I was informed by Julie she would talk to him and call me back. Julie stated numerous times she was not a mechanic. I am not a mechanic either but smart enough to know the car should not burn a quart of oil every 100 miles. Again Julie you never once have bothered to dial my number. We took the Car to Nissan where it was verified that the car indeed does need a new engine . For a remanufactered engine quote is $6850.00. I called a spoke with Julie to inform what Nissan had documented on 11/05/15 she informed because I had turned her into the Revdex.com I was on my own. I find this very upsetting. I still haven't received the tags for the car. I asked she mail them as soon as she gets them and was told she would. I intend on paying $250.00 a month for a car I can not use at all total price of $7000 with 18.9% interest rate. I think you a shady individual who likes to take innocent peoples money. You never once told me how you would help me you said you would have to see what was wrong by your mechanic and then discuss weather or not you could help me or not. Why would I bring a car over a 100 miles that could strain me at any moment, when YOUR mechanic said to me it needed a engine.

When we buy the cars, they are sent directly to our mechanic who gives each car a once over and he fixes anything that he finds wrong. When we allow a potential customer to test drive one of our cars, they are given enough time to take the car...

not only on a sufficient test drive but they are encouraged to take the car to THEIR mechanic to be checked over. We do not pressure anyone into buying any of our cars. No we do not provide a Carfax but the customer is welcome to do their on research on the car.

Nothing was offered for us to take the car to "our mechanic". to be looked at. It was also said better jump on this car, we have someone else interested in it. why was all the damage not disclosed "if" your mechanic gave it a once over? . The things we have HAD to replace was very noticeable. And the damaged frame from a front end collision that was not told to us, we had to find out from another car dealer and a carfax.

This vehicle was inspected on 11-02-2015 we also ask our mechanics to service the oil after passed inspection as a courtesy to the future owner. the price of the vehicle was 1000 down and 5900. we worked with the customer to allow them to take the car with only a $800 down payment on the date of purchase. we also allow a test drive which the purchaser previously stated she was allowed and was satisfied with. the purchaser had opportunity to take it to any mechanic or anyone they seen fit to inspect the vehicle. also if we are asked for a car fax we always tell the customer they are allowed to obtain one that we do not offer them. the customer was presented two separate statements saying the vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty and that the purchaser will bear the entire expense of repairing or correcting any defects that presently exist or may occur in the vehicle. which are signed and retained in there file in our office. we have hundreds of satisfied customers that understand the process of purchasing a low priced vehicle from a as-is dealer with low money down and affordable payments. we do not know how the vehicle was driven or taken care of once it was sold. this was a five speed manual 2 door sports car with 170 thousand miles on it. with our volume of sales if the purchaser was told someone else was interested in the vehicle this was a true statement. and only under there own free will do they enter into our contact

There was no solution. Most of what they said is bull. The car was driven respectfully. It took hearing the noise as soon as we got home. But it's funny as soon as you start calling back the person you need to talk to isn't in the office. Nothing was stated to us about we bear all expenses from then on with any mechanical or anything. Things are being told by this dealer that are just not true! We have had to spend a lot on this car and then to find out about the frame. I am not happy. My son will not drive this car with the frame like this and it risk his life.
