Review: I brought a 2011 honda civic from kings auto mall in Brooklyn n transworld was the broker on the premises. The broker nsme is [redacted] he got insurance initially for me threw progressive. In ehich he initially told mr my fulo cover policy would be no more than 400 monthly comr to find out he lird and progressive chsrge me 890.then to 1100 dollar s so I try to get him to fix the problem instead he made it worse ..he then connected me with another broker with trans world name [redacted] in which she told me she could get my insurance cheaper I said how? She said since I was on my aunts insurance nationwide my auto insurance would be cheaper she lied come to find out she made a policy for my aunt [redacted] n put me and my vechile on it..so then progressive sent me a letter of cancelation because of our different address I Call trans world and address this issue. [redacted] the [redacted] said he will handle it..he then charge me 424 dollar's after I jus gave him 650 afrw weeks bac for the progressive policy.hr promise me new insurance wit gmac..I payed him.he explain the policy like it was a personal policy. Then I got bac into on may ** n the ckaim agent called me and told me he gave me commerical insurance ..I was. Shocked...I never. Agree to this I never show a business license why he do this to me....Desired Settlement: I just wanna have what I payed for .

Review: Due to my car breaking down I had to cancel my car insurance. I took all the neccessary steps to do so, the finally step was to go to TRANSWORLD,INC located at [redacted]. Finally at the end of the day on 11/**/13 the worker there named [redacted] took all my information an told me that she would handle my account an that I didn't have to wait there because she was pretty busy I trusted her with this important task because it is her job to do so . A month later I received a later saying that I failed to pay my insurance . How is this so when I cancelled it? The young lady was suppose to handle it but she didnt ,when I called AICC they said that they was suppose to recive papers from TRANSWORLD,INC indicating that my policy was cancelled an until then that they would have me filled under as a failed to pay which would be hard for me to get insurance in the future. When I called TRANSWORLD,INC an was trying to explain my issue the lady [redacted] hung up the phone on me when I called Back an asked why she would so that she said because she had another call she then put me on hold for 15min an we had exchange for words she then told me to handle this problem myself that that don't have to do anything an hung up on me a second time I called back a third time an a man picked up I explained that the young lady was being very rude he then turned around an told me to call back in 20min. These people are very rude an unperfessional they was not at all empathetic to my situation at all seeing they was the cause for it .Desired Settlement: I think I deserve an Apology

Review: I went to make a car insurance payment over the phone as I always do. the person on the other line told me that I no longer have insurance because I called in and told them to cancel it..I told him in no time have I nor my wife called to cancel my insurance cause I use my car every single day to go to work. so he said he would call the primary insurance provider to try and reinstate my policy. later that day he called me back and told me that he can't reinstate the policy be would gladely sell me a new policy. he refuse's to tell me who and when was my policy cancelled and cancelled by who..Desired Settlement: most likely i'm gonna have a penalty from DMV cause of a cancelled policy and no insurance.. I would like for everything to be corrected

[redacted] 's Policy is through New York Automobile Insurance Plan . NYAIP assigns policy through different insurance

carriers who pick up Assigned Risk Customers .In [redacted] '.s case he was assigned to NewYork Central Mutual NYAIP only offers a six play plan which has a higher deposit and higher monthly payments , and in this case we had spread his payments through Capital Payment Plan . Capital Payment Plan is a finance company which pays off the insurance company and spreads out the insured ' s payment in to 10 payments and only requires a 15% deposit up front . [redacted] [redacted]' s payments with Capital Payment Plan are due every [redacted] of the Month and as his policy start ed on 02 /** /2013 it is due every [redacted] of the month. [redacted] 's wife had called us and asked if her policy was active because her payment was due on 09 /**/ 2013. Our Office representative had explained to them that since they made their last payment on July, ** , 2013 and their payments are due every [redacted] o f the month that Capital Payment Plan , their finance company had cancelled them on the [redacted] of August because their payment for June was made in July causing them to be one month Behind in Insurance . This caused thein to have intent to cancel from Capital Payment Plan. Our Representative explained to them that since he has been cancelled since 08 /** /2013 the insurance letter from the insurance company which shows policy was officially cancelled on the [redacted] of August. The Insurance Company New York Central Mutual as put Insured ' s Request on their Cancellation but the insurance company has confirmed with us that the policy was terminated because of finance company ' s request . They have informed DMV that policy was terminated as of the [redacted] of August because that is when they returned money back to Finance Company . The Insurance Company has put down that the policy has cancelled due to insured ' s request because the Insured is Liable of paying .the Finance Company and since the payment was not made the policy is terminated because of Insured ' s Request . [redacted]'s Payment was not .made which caused him . to cancel with the insurance company . Please see all attached documents and response to complaint .
