Good afternoonI am writing to contest a negative review brought to my attention by *** with the Revdex.com on behalf of a *** *** regarding his experience in cancelling his reservation at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe Vermont.In reviewing our records, I see Mr*** did cancel his
reservation with us days prior to his anticipated arrival of September 16, due to an illness in his familyOur cancellation policy states any cancellation within days of arrival is subject to the deposit of one night being forfeitAs a curtesy, we allowed Mr*** a day rebooking window to stay at the LodgeThey declined to do so and wanted to book outside of that windowWhen he spoke with our Reservations Manager on December 6 to again try to rebook in January, he was told initially noHowever, due to his verbal assault, we allowed a refund of his deposit less a $admin feeHis deposit was credited on December 6, 2017.
