We did the contract that was to be doneAt the final payment she did ask for the one plant to be removed and we did it at that timeWe did not ask for more money for the removalWe did get the plant to put in and just like she said we where to install it but just like any job it does take time to get back to a job as just like her everyone would like to have there job doneI did say I will come install it and that was for Thursday 8-16-we where not able to do it do to the rainI would love for everyone to understand that rain does back things up but it does not work that wayI will give here the $back just to be done with it all but she put the $on the check she cancelled for all of the work we did like the slab and sodSo I would like to be paid for the work we did do and we will give her the $back then

I responded with a statement that she stated that she had a canceled check my understanding of that was that she canceled the check and she is right that she did not cancel the check physically but she has the copy of the check being cleared so there was a misunderstanding in that With that being said I do apologize about thatAs in regards to the plant it has been installed

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below On May 4, ***s came out to my home to lay a concrete slab for my hot tub At that time I also inquired about them putting new sod down around the slab *** wrote up a bid of $1,(he said he would throw in the sod for $100.00; which was included in the bid) I thought that was more than fair He told me in order to reserve a date I would need to pay him half of the bid; which came to $(check # 1156) I also thought that was fair and wrote the check; which he cashed on May 9, He told me they were backed up due to all of the rain we had had I was fine with that In any case they started the job on Memorial day I remember this because I was out of town until then I had also inquired about him tearing out a year old lilac bush and replacing it with another one This was before I wrote the initial check No problem he said He even sprayed the old bush with spray paint in HOT PINK with an "X" so his guys would know which one to pull I mentioned a new bush from them and inquired about the price "$60.00" was what he said I thought he was a very nice man and I even commented on the fact that he was charging so little for the bush I then asked what he would charge for replacing ALL of my sidewalk with new cement "Around $3,000.00" was his reply I said I would keep him in mind if I decided to do it I couldn't afford it at the time I have to save my pennies for this stuff All in all I was very happy with the work On June 5, the work was finished (He had NO TROUBLE coming to pick up the rest of the payment.) I mentioned the lilac again and the kind I wanted He told me they would have to special order it but otherwise no problem I then paid him (check # 1157) in the amount of $ $for the slab and sod and $for the lilac bush = $ That check was cashed on June 9, I let a few weeks go by and nothing I called, emailed and FINALLY got a hold of him on August 14, Now it has come down to this I have attached copies of both checks that he has cashed AND the emails I've been putting up with from him He promised me times in a row he would be here to plant the bush In the end his word is no good and that is bad for someone who is running a business like he's running Word of mouth is the best advertising I also do not appreciate him telling the Revdex.com that I have stopped payment on any checks for payment of work That is a bold faced lie as you will see in the attachments In the email response from him he said he would send the $to be "done with it all" Then he said it was $ He doesn't even keep track of his records properly It is $and not $69!! I can't believe he's been in business for years! In any case, I don't expect to see my $from him He can't keep his word and is a liar Even when he's said in writing he owes me the $ Beware of ***s Landscaping They are not trustworthy and slimy

I will give here the $60 back just to be done with it all but she put the $60 on the check she cancelled for all of the work we did like the slab and sod. So I would like to be paid for the work we did do and we will give her the $69 back then.
