MISSED PICK UPS
This company is horrible. My 88 yr. old father's trash was not collected on 07.27.23. When I called, customer service says their gps shows the truck stopped at his house on that day. Not - the trash is still sitting at the curb. I asked for a supervisor to call me. Today is 08.04.23 and I still have not received a call. My father called on 08.03.23 and was told his trash would be picked up that day by 3pm. He watched the truck come right past his house and not stop. So now the trash has been missed 2 weeks. They say it's a new driver. Common sense would say to check your sheet to see if you are supposed to collect it, especially since it's probably the only trash tech can on the street (smh). When you call, report a missed pick up and request a refund, they say that it has to be approved. What is there to approve? You did not provide the service you were paid for. There is obviously a disconnect here. If you want your trash collected weekly,
THEY ARE NOT THE ONE FOR YOU!

Trash Tech provided rubbish removal for 3 years with no issue,
Problem starting in Dec 2021, no show during Xmas week. Then missed several recycling and late pick ups.
Finally had enough and cancelled their service in July 2022, Was told to eave the cans out front,4 to 6 weeks to pick them up from the property.
The cans are still out front at the curb , Its now Oct 20 2022.
My neighbor cancelled their as well same issues . Their Trash Tech cans are out front too.
Oddly their staff stop occasionally to see if there is trash in them but leave them and drive on.
I guess they don't want them back ?

Trash Tech is not worth your time or money
I am not surprised to see all the negative reviews. After having used Trash Tech for several years with no problems except continual rate increases, the quality of its trash and recycling pickup declined dramatically in the Spring of 2022, shortly after we had paid for a quarter of future service. We received late or no service for 5 of 8 weeks. After constantly complaining to the company, we canceled our service. It took Trash Tech more than two weeks to pick up their cans and that pickup happened only after I threatened to run over the cans with my car. I gave the company more than three months to send a refund for service we hadn't received before I finally called it. Came to find out that Trash Tech's policy is to never give refunds.

We started getting our service from GFL Environmental and are happy with it at this point. It costs us less and the cans are about 25% larger.

Trash Tech will charge you but refuse to pick up your trash. Staffing issues are not an excuse. I have reached out to the company and several individuals and nothing has happened, despite constant contact or attempts at contact, they still missed my trash again this week, making 7 weeks in a row. I had to pay someone to remove excess trash from my property since TrashTech wasn't coming take care of the paid services
