Trash to Treasure Estate Sales Reviews (9)

first of she broke the contract when she came storming in the house yelling at customers, and we offered time and time again to help her and she refused instead she took the keys to the house when we left the last dayonly to come back on Monday tho find all our tables and stuff out side were it could get wet or stolen Also in the contract it stats that the family is to come back on thursday to check the prices and see if the house is perfect, but she didn't she went out of town and had better things to do Also about the houses I gave her friend the houses and she said nothing about them and she texted me to give her now she is trying to extort from me Clearly she will never be happy, and customer out of a 1, oh By the way my mexican girls that work for me were not going to steal from you so stop giving them dirty looks

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This business owner obviously believes that he can do whatever he wants and say whatever he wants and no one will hold him accountable My complaint has to do with a business owner "selling" one thing in the presentation and not following through with the service This business owner wants to continue to tear down my character and lie about when I arrived on Sunday (at the designated time given to me by him), that I yelled in front of customers (which I did not), placing his items out in weather or to be stolen (as pointed out before, the tables and tubs were under cover behind a locked gate and the cash box and food items were placed in bags INSIDE the front door only a few minutes prior to his arrival the next morning) and that the "items" were given to my friend for free Once again - I will point out that the "items" in question were vintage "Putz" houses The business owner verbally indicated he knew exactly what the houses were when I called on Wednesday prior to the sale and he indicated he had them in his hand pulling them out of the sale, as I kindly requested (and could do according to the contract) He sells that he has over years experience in antiques and collectibles and yet he pulled a completely different item (flat cardboard houses worth little to nothing).Since the business owner violated the contract by not obtaining the proper permits with the City of Schertz (he had to go back later, after reported, and pay the fees plus a fine) and violated the City's sign ordinance codes in regards to directional signs - he obviously does not care about the contract or whether he operates his business in any ethical manner. At this time I do not feel the Revdex.com is doing anything to hold this business owner accountable for any of his actions I have clearly outlined my complaint and now it has become just a back n forth with the business owner who I don't care to deal with anymore. My next step will be to pursue the matter in other ways I am not concerned as to how the business owner responds to this complaint Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I have the contract and papers from this company

We have no record of doing this sale The client needs to show a contract of us doing or having done the sale on those dates and location Thanks ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: it does not justify that the contract was not honored from the get goIt states that they would provide tables, display cases, racks, and shelves to set up and organize /display/stage the pre-priced tag sale, research unique items to get the fair ***et price, place appropriate signs directing buyers to sale location ( the police removed the signs because they were placed where signs were prohibited)

first of she broke the contract when she came storming in the house yelling at customers, and we offered time and time again to help her and she refused instead she took the keys to the house  when we left the last day. only to come back on Monday tho find all our tables and stuff out side were...

it could get wet or stolen.  Also in the contract it stats that the family is to come back on thursday to check the prices and see if the house is perfect,  but she didn't she went out of town and had better things to do .       Also about the houses I gave her friend the houses and she said nothing about them.  and she texted  me to give her 50.00 now she is trying to extort    200.00   from me.   Clearly she will never be happy, and 1 customer out of a 1,000  oh.   By the way my mexican girls that work for me were not going to steal  from you so stop giving them dirty looks.

I am rejecting this response because:This business owner obviously believes that he can do whatever he wants and say whatever he wants and no one will hold him accountable.  My complaint has to do with a business owner "selling" one thing in the presentation and not following through with the service.   This business owner wants to continue to tear down my character and lie about when I arrived on Sunday (at the designated time given to me by him), that I yelled in front of customers (which I did not), placing his items out in weather or to be stolen (as pointed out before, the tables and tubs were under cover behind a locked gate and the cash box and food items were placed in bags INSIDE the front door only a few minutes prior to his arrival the next morning) and that the "items" were given to my friend for free.  Once again - I will point out that the "items" in question were vintage "Putz" houses.   The business owner verbally indicated he knew exactly what the houses were when I called on Wednesday prior to the sale and he indicated he had them in his hand pulling them out of the sale, as I kindly requested (and could do according to the contract).   He sells that he has over 30 years experience in antiques and collectibles and yet he pulled a completely different item (flat cardboard houses worth little to nothing).Since the business owner violated the contract by not obtaining the proper permits with the City of Schertz (he had to go back later, after reported, and pay the fees plus a fine) and violated the City's sign ordinance codes in regards to directional signs - he obviously does not care about the contract or whether he operates his business in any ethical manner. At this time I do not feel the Revdex.com is doing anything to hold this business owner accountable for any of his actions.   I have clearly outlined my complaint and now it has become just a back n forth with the business owner who I don't care to deal with anymore. My next step will be to pursue the matter in other ways.   I am not concerned as to how the business owner responds to this complaint.

Like we discussed, She had her change according to the contract to check everything out the thursday before the sale Se had better things to do and go out of town,  Then when she saw the pictures she still did nothing. Returned on sunday early only to start yelling in front of customers.  And we ask her she she needed anything and she said no.   Only to come  back the next day to find all our stuff out in front of the house, even our food which we had in the ice box.   For everyone to steal over night.  The items were given to her friend for free didn't even charge her a commision, which is in the contract butt I was being nice, the items in question on ebay only sell for 5.00 each  and she wants 50.00   in a text   now 200.00.   We are done      Thanks [redacted]

Almost everything on the contract she broke the main one was that she was there at the sale which is not allowed  so we have the right to shut it down.   Also we felt bad about the rain  so we did not charge her for the set up fee if anothing she owes us for HOTEL GAS BACK AND FORTH AND FOOD FOR A WEEK..... We also closed it down do to the conditions of the property and customers complaining about walking in dog [redacted]  If you call austin code inforcment  and find out how many times she has been find and them trying to condem the property.    She waited a year so we will not be dealing with her trying to extort money from us when she did not hold up to the contract.   If anything she owes us 2,000 dollars for the loss I took in going up there and dealing with the mess.
