I am rejecting this response because: The response they supplied to Revdex.com is inconsistent with the phone conversations I had with them. The accounting staff at the Dr's office adamantly refused my request to contact [redacted] despite several requests from me. There response ( "We don't deal with out of state Medicaid") was all I could receive.  I had no choice but to pay the balance, however, and this feeling is further supported by their response to Revdex.com, that the accounting office does not operate at the same level as the surgeon, who did an excellent job.  Given the emphasis at the federal level for all to have health insurance, having DR's offices who refuse to bill the insurance providers negates the whole concept of having health insurance.

that is higher than [redacted] allowed amount so we were told they will not pay anything. The account had been sent to our collections agency, [redacted], in May 2014 and we were notified by them that [redacted] paid his balance in full on June 9, 2014.

Review: The complaint involves only a billing issue stemming from a surgery, there was no issue with the surgery. The Trauma Medical Grp of [redacted] is billing me for the portion of a bill that is in excess of what my primary insurance company will pay. There is a secondary insurance through [redacted] that the Trauma Medical Grp will not submit the bill to. Despite two phone calls to the billing office explaining the situation, they refuse to enroll with [redacted]. [redacted] has offered to call the Trauma Medical Grp and talk them through the simple process, but the Trauma Medical Grp has refused to talk with them. [redacted] cannot pay them unless they enroll and cannot accept the bill from me. The $496.00 bill is now in collectionsDesired Settlement: I would like the Medical Group to enroll and get paid by [redacted]. The Dr deserves to be paid.
