arrived at the shop, the vehicle was diagnosed with a bad transfer case. Customer reviewed and approved estimate prior to repairs. Vehicle was repaired promptly upon authorization and customer was notified. After pickup, the customer called regarding the “check engine” light. We asked her to come back in for a vehicle scan at no additional cost. Results of the scan showed faulty oxygen sensor. This system code has no relation to the repairs we provided to the transfer case. The Oxygen sensor is an electrical part that fails over time. The customer was given an estimate for repairing the oxygen sensor, and we will still honor it.
