Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] They are pretty much lyingI have been contacting [redacted] almost every month since I returned from that trip and every month Travel Bound kept telling [redacted] the same thing, we're looking into itSo for Travel Bound to say that [redacted] has not tried to contact them numerous times is ridiculousMy agent has all of the emails he sent on fileTravel Bound was just choosing to keep ignoring us and blowing us off until I notified the Revdex.comIf I would have know better I would have filed this complaint with the Revdex.com as soon as I returnedBut please do not for one second believe that I am not still extremely upset and disappointed with what happened to me on that trip just because a year has gone byThey did refund me something dollars and I immediately had [redacted] notify them in regards to that not being sufficient In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

 They are pretty much lying. I have been contacting [redacted] almost every month since I returned from that trip and every month Travel Bound kept telling [redacted] the same thing, we're looking into it. So for Travel Bound to say that [redacted] has not tried to contact them numerous times is ridiculous. My agent has all of the emails he sent on file. Travel Bound was just choosing to keep ignoring us and blowing us off until I notified the Revdex.com. If I would have know better I would have filed this complaint with the Revdex.com as soon as I returned. But please do not for one second believe that I am not still extremely upset and disappointed with what happened to me on that trip just because a year has gone by. They did refund me 100 something dollars and I immediately had [redacted] notify them in regards to that not being sufficient.

[redacted] booked a hotel through Travel Bound for a 5-day stay in Rio de Janeiro. The arrival date at his hotel was Feb. **, 2013. On Feb. **we received a call from [redacted]' travel agent advising us that he wanted to open a customer service complaint and on March **we received an email from the travel agent with the details of the complaint. We automatically opened the customer service case upon receipt of the email.
Per our communications with the travel agent, the original hotel was overbooked and [redacted] was moved to an alternate property. Upon [redacted]' return, we received an email from his travel agent at [redacted] Oklahoma stating that [redacted] had been relocated in Rio and that the alternate hotel was of a lower standard. We do not show any record of [redacted] contacting us during his stay to raise this concern. All customers receive documents from us on their bookings with hotel vouchers and information instructing the customer of how to contact us while they are traveling if they're experiencing any issues during their travels.
We started our investigation and contacted the hotel requesting information on what occurred and then asked for any compensation they would offer us to return to the customer. My friend and I were on our way back to El Paso Texas from Paris. Waited at Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel where we were booked. We were waiting for pickup to take us to the airport and TravelBound driver did not show up. Tried calling the phone number on the voucher but no response.

We had to take a taxi instead as it takes an hour to get to the airport. I was so stressed and worried that I won’t make it to my 10:00 am flight. I hardly made it and had to wait a long time at the check in counter.

When I got back, informed my travel agent of Buck Rogers of what happened. I was supposed to get a refund for the taxi fare I paid to get to the airport. Travel Bound messed up again the second time in giving my refund by a credit on my credit card. Up to this writing, I’m still waiting for my complete refund!

Review: On October **, 2015 my wife and I and 4 good friends were charged which was prepaid, $300.00 for a cab ride from the Train Station in Zurich to our Hotel (M-Gallery). When I asked the driver how far and how long a drive it was, I was shocked to find it was approximately a 3 minute drive and a 7 minute walk. I was expecting a couple hour drive due to the cost. The driver said it would be approximately a $9.00 cab charge. We were charged $267.50. for the return on the [redacted], which we could not cancel, because we had to cancel by the [redacted] according to the contract. The return driver even questioned why we just didn't walk since it was so close and also stated that it would have cost approximately $10.00 if we were to use a taxi. I reported this immediately to our travel agent of Davis Travel in [redacted]. She questioned the charge with Travel Bound then and we have been in contact with Travel Bound this past few days and they refuse to correct the overcharge, stating pretty much that "buyer beware". Btw, we used Travel Bound for quite a few bookings in Europe. We naturally assumed that Travel Bound was a reputable company and trusted them to be fair, not necessarily inexpensive, but again fair. When I book travel arrangements, I expect the people who we are paying to be on our side and watching out for our best interest. Especially when we are traveling abroad, because we obviously need to rely on them. I believe the refusal to correct the overcharge is even worse than the overcharge itself.Desired Settlement: We would like at least $500.00 refunded, and also would like to let future customers know of this situation.
