On Friday, the 19th of June, the consumer called into the office. He told me the beaches were not white and the water was not blue and he wanted to move. I asked him what color the sand was and what color the ocean was. He thought I was being...

smart with him and told me not to. I told him I needed to call Fun Jet and would get back to him. I spoke to Fun jet and they have to call me back after they do their research. The consumer purchased no travel insurance. Fun Jet called Saturday morning and [redacted] was here. The hotel agreed to move him for $800. He told them we would pay for it. We declined that. We would not pay for him to change. [redacted] told the Fun Jet agent that we didn't even know if the water would be blue enough or sand white enough so why would we agree to do this?
As far as the toilet flooding and things like that, I didn't know about that until he wrote about it in the letter. I never spoke to him, I dealt with his wife the entire time. The Dominican Republic is in the Caribbean. His budget was $3,500 and we pushed it up because he had 4 adults traveling to the Caribbean in the summer time. I got it to $4,129.34. When he returned, he sent me the letter. I forwarded it to Fun Jet Vacations. They have to research the details of the complaint and came back around August 18th with a 1 night refund of each room of $99.41. I forwarded that to him on August 20th. He replied "Please be informed there is no decision at this time" and notified us of his complaint with Revdex.com. We have not had any correspondence since the 20th of August.
Immediately after he got back and sent me the first letter, he threatened legal action, therefore correspondence was cut off. His letter was still sent to Fun Jet.
Traveling, in general; White sand and Blue water is not something anyone can ever guarantee. Right now, the Caribbean is dealing with Seaweed issues; Mounds and piles of it. Change is constant. When I contacted Fun Jet and notified them that the consumer was not happy with the sand not being white and water not being blue, they asked me what color the consumer thought it was.
Internet service was also available to the consumer at his cost.
