Dear Sir/Mam, In response to your complaintI would like to begin by apologizing that your stay was not up to your standardsWe pride ourselves on decent accommodations and friendly service, we are certainly not a star resort nor claim to beI would like to address some of your concerns; your reservation was for a Thursday and Friday night, upon an early arrival you were informed that if you wanted a lower floor room you would need to come back in an hourWhen you did check in you had plenty of time to voce your concerns to the front desk and even be allowed to check outBy no means do we have a policy that a person must stay with us if they are not satisfied with the accommodationsThe reason you were not given a refund is because you decided to call hotels.com on the second day of your day reservation at 6:00pmWe do not have cleaning staff at that time to clean up your room once you have had possession for the entire dayIf the conditions of the room were as deplorable as described we would have let you check out that morning or even after you checked in and looked at the roomPlease understand that we know that not every guest will be happy but you must give us the proper opportunity to correct any issues that you haveUnfortunately giving a refund after you have used our accommodations for and a half days out of a day stay is not common practice in this industryOnce again I apologize that you did not find your stay up to par but you also must understand that your request for a refund is unreasonable since you did use the facilities for most of your reserved stay

I am rejecting this response because: I have my records I just received from my phone company as to when I called hotels.com on the 31st I called times and they spoke to you once and hotel told them it's not the policy of the hotel to give refunds after checking in So how dare you say I am trying to get money from a small business You refused our refund when I askedYour business is filthy I will now go to small claims I have already forward pictures to them and I was told I do have a caseSo I will see you there

Yes, we did hear our customers’ complaint this room. So, we have sprayed pesticide times within a week inside room and outside porch. Yet, it still not okay We also move refrigerator and stove out and discovered the gaps We seal the gaps and cracks
already. We had changed the motel room carpets, painted entire building inside out completely this year in June The carpet has only months old. We would like to honor our guest requests. We regret very much that our guests should act within reasonable timely manner rather than spend an entire night and ask for refund later!
Our room rates is $plus state and city tax 9.8% total $71.37. Guests deposit $We refund them $the next morning when they bring back key and remote. There was no $per night precedent.
Travel In does not have guest from Yoncalla Hope that our guests did not write phony address or ID We did not charge our guest $a night from this small room either. We honor our guests refund or change different room when they complaint to us a few hours after they check in, but not after they stayed for the full nightThank you for your understanding

She got mixed up with two different occasions
First, about the phone and the money she owes in the amount of $She owes $because she stayed one more night after she stayed nightsYes her boyfriend broke the picture frame which cost her just $which her friend paidShe was never
evictedShe stayed full nights However, Ms*** stayed over on the 10th with no moneySo we had her leave us her BLU phone and allowed her to pay us $within two weeksThat's the reason why we are still keeping her phone and she just needs to pay us $and get her phone back.
Second, she paid for two month for November and December 2016, $each monthBut when she and her boyfriend got into huge fight and he broke two lampstands and a chair and windows we billed her $But she couldn't come up with payment so her second month was reduced to days for $and we allocated the other $for fixing and replacing windows, replacing a chair, and two lamp stand, which I find it to be very reasonable, considering it is for parts and labors

Please see attached email from [redacted], in this you will see that they did keep a record of every time you called them. The first time being August 1, 2014 at 5:50 PM asking for a refund, you checked in on July 31, 2014 for a 2 night reservation that was made on July, 30, 2014 (please see the reservation attached). They have no record of you calling within the 90 minutes while you were waiting for a room. Frankly, I am appalled that you would call myself distrustful, if you had a problem with the accommodations we most certainly would have allowed you to check out but the fact of the matter is that you stayed almost completely through your reservation for 2 nights and tried to receive a full refund at 6:00 PM on the second night of your two night  stay. Once again I apologize that you feel that your accommodations were not up to your standards but being dishonest about when you called [redacted] and asked for a refund shows whom is distrustful. At the end f the day I believe that you just trying to extort money from a small business.

Review: To Whom it May Concern, On August **, 2013, I stayed at the "Travel Inn" in Monticello.(Room 109) It was booked at least two weeks in advance. The accommodations were horrible! If I was paying $39 I would understand but I paid $115. + There were cigarette burns in the bedspread, Holes in a lampshade, a lamp that didn't even work. A huge gap on the floor at the door, towels that were the size of dish towels, a rodent trap in bathroom. It was disgusting. I feel I was ripped off big time. I complained to them via email asking them to compensate me with some sort of refund but recieved no response! I took pictures if they are needed. Thank You.Desired Settlement: A monetary refund would satisfy me.

Review: Hotel has mold on windows, mold in shower, mold on shower curtain, towels are stained, hard and torn. Carpet is very dirty musty and urine smell, pieces of carpet missing, mattress has bed bugs and very dirty. Large opening at bottom of front door. Chairs are very dirty, they smell bad could not sit. We came home with cold sore's on our mouth and I had to see a doctor for an infection I got while there. I asked for a refund so we could go some where else when we first arrived and saw the condition of the rooms. we were told that the cancellation had to made 24 hrs ahead. How were we to know the condition of the hotel. [redacted] had a good rating for them. That I do not understand. I also took lots of pictures of the place and our cold sores.Desired Settlement: A refund and medical expense, also a full inspection of this hotel.
