We contracted with Solarponics to install a PV system in May to offset our non-solar production by at least 85% We were provided with three different contracts with varying percentages of this offset The contract that we chose was the most we could afford with an offset of 78% (under “Optimal” conditions - which are done in a lab, not on any home) at a cost of $17kGoing back and forth with different personnel at Solarponics, we met with their Customer Solutions Manager, T [redacted] who said he had sign off to make things right as it was apparent that the system is underperformingWithin a few weeks it became obvious that the system as installed was not producing anything close to the 85% we wanted or the 78% per contract but closer to 67% He said that since the contract wasn't explained to us correctly in the beginning and our situation was the "perfect storm" of things that could go wrong with setting expectations by their sales teamsSolarponics would be paying off ou
