This company, also under the subsidery of "Members Choice", advertises itself as an elite travel club, with savings on cruises, vacations, hotels, etc., at "up to 50% off" standard prices. They get people to attend seminars with a giveaway of two free airline tickets, for just attending the seminar. The seminars are full of energetic representatives paid by the company to present a fantastic program of huge savings on these trips and the like. "Up to 60% off on cruises" is advertised and documented in their contracts. It sounds wonderful, and a lot of travel happy patrons get sucked in to signing a contract to be a member, for thousands of dollars up front, and, a $300.00 per year annual fee. We signed up a year ago, and ensueingly submitted pricing requests on at least two dozen attempts to get "those fantastic and huge discounts" repeatedly offered at the seminar. Cruises, vacations, golf, hotels, etc. were looked at. The bottom line is, I booked one hotel stay at $20.00 less than I could get from the hotel direct. Numerous cruise prices from Members Choice were either higher, equal to, or slightly($50.00 or 3%) less than the cruise lines direct or a travel agent. The travel agent also got us three perks aboard ship! After a year of steady research and requests we found this to be a scam! Their advertising is fraudulent, and even though there was a very minimal (a few dollars, not thousands as advertised) savings offered on a few occasions, we definitely can say we, and many others who fell for this scam were ripped off. I have all of their price quotes, along with competitive price quotes on file as proof. I tried calling / e mailing the agent who signed us up on five occasions, with no response. Their management, whom I spoke with many times, refuses to acknowledge this scam, will tell us "well, we did offer a savings, as advertised in your contract". We have friends who also got caught in this, and are also very upset with them. Please do not get caught up in this scam!Product_Or_Service: Travel Club DiscountsAccount_Number: XXX-XXXXXXXXDesired SettlementI Have asked them for a refund, full or partial, and was told no. I am looking for rectification for the money I spent on something advertised with nothing offered. I would hope the Revdex.com would look into this and save others from our predicament.

This company promoted discounts in traveling & guaranteed the sale of our Time Share Unit within 3-6 mos. A year later nothing has happened. Complaint: This company, advertised as "Member Travel Services" and/or "Members Choice", promoted itself as an elite travel club, with savings on cruises, vacations & hotels. Later we found out it also included savings in all types of shopping, that they didn't mention in their pitch. We attended the seminar on 8/10/13 with a giveaway of 2 free airline tickets - they promoted & guaranteed huge discounts, up to 50% off standard prices on airfare & hotel stays. When we were presented the "free" tickets I read the back of the pamphlet which explained the attached fees that added up to over $200.00 so we opted out & got an additional free week on a vacation stay. We later ended up with 5 free weeks. The seminar was presented by a very energetic representative of the company & had additional sales people that further promoted the huge savings available to travel anywhere in the world, focusing on savings in hotel costs & airline fares. The initial cost/investment ranged from the Diamond Elite at $12,995. to the Standard at $8,995.00, plus the processing fee of $399.00 & annual member cost of $299.00, but you would get all this back in savings within a few trips. The 'hook' for us was not the savings in traveling, but the offer to sell our Time Share Unit. The salesman assigned to us was very personable & shared his story of his ailing father. He guaranteed that he had much success with a person who specifically did this real estate work. We could not afford or think about vacations but the prospect of selling our Time Share Unit & using that money to pay off credit cards & help our daughter with her college costs was the catch. We were even allowed to speak to the real estate person at that time. The Presenter approached us & offered a 'great deal' of only $2,995.00 since 'another client' had stopped paying for their membership. The credit card was made by "Travel Supplier of America" powered by "[redacted]". Of course this was a 'today only' deal. We reasoned that if the Time Share sold we would recoup the money & we could use the travel discounts towards hotel & airline costs for travel back & forth to college for the next 4 years. Three months later the time share still had not sold, we contacted the representative we had been assigned to & he stated he would contact the real estate person. Nothing. We personally contacted her every few months & she has repeated each time that she was working on selling the Time Share Unit. We have made requests for prices for hotel stays, airline fares & car rental prices that would take up to 2 days for a reply with a price. I could not make the reservation through them but instead wait for an email & then accept the rate they had found through the email. Each time they came back at the same rates that we were able to find through [redacted], [redacted] or [redacted]. The organization had specifically used these type of searches engines as comparisons & that they could beat any of their prices because of their exclusive connections to get lower rates because of their travel agency status. A year later we have saved nothing & have booked at least 7-8 hotel stays, a car rental & most recently airline tickets at the same price Member Choice representatives offered us. We just received our invoice for the yearly membership fee of $249.99.I admit that after a year I have been too embarrassed to check into Revdex.com & just swallowed that we were scammed & are out $3693.00 plus credit card interest. A costly lesson learned. Thankfully we never provided any referrals to this organization, as I would have felt even worse at being ripped off & sharing that experience with friends & family. We have since torn up or hung up on any offers of free airline tickets or free cruises for checking out a seminar. All these free airline tickets or vacation stays have fine print that once read have you paying out of pocket at least $100.00 dollars. Desired SettlementWe only want back the $3,693.00 initial payout & 14.99% interest for the past 12 months. Their guarantee of selling our Time Share was obviously as fraudulent as their other claims to save on airline fares, hotel costs & car rental rates.

Review: We originally purchased a TSA Travel Club membership 09/26/13 for $3999.00. We re-negotiated the contract price on 9/29/13 for $2999.00 with the return of an airline voucher, worth $1000.00,that was misrepresented when verbal details were requested by us before accepting the voucher .Therefore said amount was deducted from our original purchase price and $2999.00 was charged to our Master Card. At the original presentation, paper signing was very rushed late at night and we were never told, nor was it pointed out on the form, there was a cancellation fee of approximately $600.00.

Also on the original purchase date we agreed to "trade-in" our presently owned one week Bermuda timeshare and were verbally told there would be "NO ADDITIONAL FEES" forthcoming to us. The value of this timeshare(approximately $6000.00) was "credited" to the first discussed purchase price of $8995.00 for TSA membership therefore decreasing our purchase price to $2999.00. "There would be no additional fees to us" was one of many verbal statements made to us by the presenter ( statements of which I have in my notes), many of which we found to be untruthful.

11/10/13:Subsequently when contacted by TSA's timeshare company to accept our Bermuda timeshare "transfer" we were billed for $4380.00

and were told the 2014 maintenance fee($2758.00) would also have to be paid by us.

11/19/13:In view of these additional fees,in speaking with the timeshare transfer company,we expressed our desire to cancel our membership and receive a full refund of $2999.00. (this followed numerous phone attempts to reach the timeshare company and included a fax sent to them on 11/1513). We telephoned to our TSA customer "rep" this information that we would like to cancel our membership. He agreed this was OK and also told us that the lady who did the original presentation, who had rushed us thru the paper signing late at night and given us many verbal agreements was "no longer with the company". She had told us at the presentation she had worked for the company for 25years!

11/21/14:Spoke with our customer"rep" at TSA who told us the above timeshare company is "no longer working for TSA, and that we should now direct all correspondence to Member Choice. The "rep" stated that "we may cancel our membership and have the entire #2999.00 refunded to our Master Card (where original payment was made) and refund would be credited within ten working days."

11/28/13:To followup on this we had a phone call with our "rep" and he stated he would check the status of this situation with TSA and advised us to return all membership materials that had been originally given to us. All materials were mailed today to TSA, Newark,De. by return receipt requested.Receipt was signed for by TSA.

12/16/13: I Left a phone message for "rep" to please call me re: status of above. I have signed return receipt requests for ALL mailed correspondence, and membership materials were received by TSA office.

12/18/13: No response from "rep" so I called TSA office direct and spoke with both a secretary and a "Director". Very difficult conversation with them and the "Director" refused to honor our membership cancellation and refund our monies despite verbal agreement by their senior employee, our customer "rep".

12/21/13: Telephone to "rep" who returned my call, while on "holiday". He apologized for the delay and misunderstanding by Director and stated he would call the office, check on situation and call back to me. "REP". DID NOT CALL BACK.

01/06/14-01/07/14-01/08/14-01/09/14-01/12/14--Repeated attempts to call "rep", phone states his "message box full".

01/15/14-01/21/14-I was able to leave a message on " rep's" phone: "please call me". Also during this time I sent numerous e-mails to "rep" asking for him to please contact me (e-mails saved in my computer). Did NOT call back or e-mail back to me.

01/24/14- A very Strange message was left on my phone of "rep" talking to another customer but no message left directly for me. (recording saved).

01/30/14-02/07/14- Last e-mails sent to "rep" asking PLEASE CONTACT ME TO SETTLE this situation. No response to date.

I have documented all names and dates of above conversations and contact attempts and have signed postal receipts for all correspondence sent to TSA.Desired Settlement: Simply: to have TSA membership cancelled and refund of $2999.00 made ASAP to our Master Card account.

TSA has never acknowledged, other than a signed postal receipt for materials, that our membership is cancelled and has kept the membership materials returned to them on 11/28/13.

Review: My wife and I attended a sales seminar on Oct. 18, 2013 hosted by "Smart Travel & Incentives", conducted by "Travel Suppliers of America" selling memberships to "Member Choice" travel club. Because we attended the seminar we were awarded a 7 night/8day cruise on NCL. After listening to their sales pitch on how we could save 50% to 60% on future travel compared to companies like "Orbits", my wife and I decided to join. In the spring of 2014 when I started shopping for a vacation I realize what a mistake it was to have joined Member Choice because there was no 50% to 60% saving. I just recently priced a cruise with NCL and Member Choice and the saving would have come in the form of a rebate "estimated" to be $150 which was payable after the cruise was taken. My yearly fee to Member Choice is $299. I fail to see any savings. And I found the same problem when I inquired about other travel arrangements. When I expressed my displeasure with their services (Member Choice) and asked for a full refund I was directed to return to the wholesaler that sold us the membership. When calling Travel Suppliers of America, no one answers the phone are returns any messages.

So I believe that I am another victim of fraud perpetrated by Travel Suppliers of America.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $4693.99.

Review: During a free cruise presentation on 8-16-13, I heard 3 speakers explain their exclusive travel membership through Member Choice. Advising they were a travel wholesaler, providing package deals to all travel agencies. Claiming they didnt mark up prices as retail agencies rather sold memberships; high inital fee and a renewal fee. Presented actual travel summaries comparing MC with travel agencys prices for cruises and all-inclusive trips to include transportation. Explaining their low pricing due to large room blocks purchased for resale. Following, we met with a rep who inform us the initial fee was $8995 plus $399 doc fee, however, by foregoing the free cruise our fee would reduce to $6499. We were told they guaranteed their pricing would be lower or our money back. We joined, paying $6499 by check. In Feb 2014 we began vacation plans and called MC. We requested a Celebrity cruise and was quoted $6500. Shocked at the cost, we reviewed MCs bid and felt their quoted air fare was high. We shopped and booked airfare ourselves to Hawaii. Now, confident we had overcome the obstacle, we requested MC supply pricing for a 7 day cruise in Hawaii. Following, we went to Norwegians site & called to price out the options given to compare costs. MC quoted $2,503.and inserted this statement: In order to get the biggest savings with our wholesalers we cannot pay our discounted rate up front. Instead, you will have to pay the retail rate and then receive a rebate after the completion of your trip. We booked direct with Norwegian for $2298. & got $150 credit. We called MC to inquire & were told MC was only a travel agency that Travel Suppliers of America used and gave their number. My wife spoke to [redacted] at TSA who asked for documentation of MCs and Norwegians pricing. [redacted] confirmed TSA guaranteed if MCs pricing is even $1 higher, we would receive a full refund. All documents were emailed immediately. Since mailing, several voice mails have been left but no response. We want a full refund.Desired Settlement: We have not used TSA services and have lost all confidence in the integrity of their company. We have requested in writing and verbally that we desire to terminate our relationship and receive a full refund. Jack at TSA's corporate office confirmed they guarantee the lowest pricing as well and if, we got the same deal elsewhere for less, TSA WOULD REFUND OUR MONEY. He said we would present the information to those above him and we would hear back. That was in late February, 2014.

Review: On May 23, my wife, [redacted], and I purchased a membership in Member Services which is affiliated with Travel supplier of America in the amount of $8,Based upon this agreement we were to a have priority access to five week long stays in condos at a location of our choiceThe sales agent indicated that the cost of a week's stay would not exceed $because we had a membership in the clubOurs was a platinum membershipDuring the course of the first months of the membership we requested several (perhaps 10-15)vacation locationsThe majority of the requests came back with prices ranging from $1,to $3,not $as quoted by the sales agent, Mr[redacted]sFor those that were more reasonably priced, they were not up to our quality standard and most definitely not consistent with what was shown to us to entice us to buy the packageAnother "advantage"f the membership was to be low cost hotel staysAs it turns out we have been able to get better prices through channels such as AAA and AARPTherefore there has been at least two fraudulent promises
There has been a great deal of difficulty involved in trying to speak to someone at the company about our concernsOn several occasions I have spoken to MrJack [redacted] who is in some sort of administrative position under the CEO, Mr[redacted]The first conversation I had was very unproductive and I concluded that Mr[redacted] was just being very condescending about my concernsHe indicated that any discussions about a refund would need to be taken up with Mr[redacted]There is no phone contact number available for Mr[redacted]Therefore, On or about March 26, I wrote to him with my issuesHe never responded to the letterThis letter was sent certified mail but I never heard from himI spoke to [redacted] again on or around the end of May, and he indicated that he had a meeting coming up with Mr[redacted] after Memorial Day weekend and that he would bring my concerns to his attentionYou should know that was I able to get this far with [redacted] only after multiple message left at the office voice mailI heard nothing from [redacted] or [redacted]I finally got through to [redacted] again on or about the beginning of AugustHe indicted to me that he did, indeed, speak to Russel and said that [redacted] indicted to him that he"would take care of it"So, not having heard from him since that end of May meeting , I wrote another certified letter that postal records indicate was signed for in the Travel Supplier of America office on August 28th by a Mr.[redacted]However, the letter was returned to me unopened indicating that it be returned to senderSo, once again, there was no access to the one person who was authorized to address our concerns
It should be noted that in the March correspondence, I asked that our account not be charged an annual fee on May 23, until our issues were resolvedThat request was ignored and our membership is current suspended with no indication that anyone in the company has any real intention of hearing and settling our issuesThis is a service that we have never used because it was not what we thought we were purchasingI believe that we are victims of advertising and fraudulent business practice.Desired Settlement: The first desired outcome is the courtesy of speaking to [redacted] whom I assume has enjoyed the unbridled use of our money over the last year for absolutely no services renderedI assume that there is no effort on his part to"handle it" because he never intends to "handle"itThe other desired outcome is to obtain a full or , at least, prorated refund
