Please find attached our response to ID ***
We are in receipt of your letter regarding Showtime Exhibitions ID ***. All communication regarding the trip plans was made by *** ***. The credit card provided was in the name of *** ***.
Mr*** called and visited our office while Mr*** and the other travelers were on their trip. He advised that all transactions should have been approved by him or *** ***. I was not provided this instruction at any time by Mr***. The fares charged for the air tickets were the airline published rates at the time of booking for the dates of travel. We book/purchase air fare directly with the airlines through their websites or reservation centers. The airfare can differ from flight to flight and date to date. Every price level within each fare category is allocated only a certain number of seatsAs the lower priced fares sell out, the next seats available for purchase are sold at a higher fare. Most airlines charge a change fee and difference in air fare if applicable when changes are made to previously ticketed reservations. Mr*** was made aware of this. I did ask Air Canada if they would waive the change fee at the time of the second return travel date change as well as after the completion of travel. Unfortunately, they would not honor this request.The airlines do not pay commission to travel agencies. We charged a $per person service fee for the first four travelers booked. We did not charge an additional $service fee when Mr*** *** reservation was made. In addition, we did not charge a service fee each time the Showtime Exhibitions travel plans changed which is standard practice in the travel industry.Mr*** provided our office a copy of his credit card bill and asked for an explanation of charges. I have attached the explanation provided to Mr*** for your information. Please do not publish this information or our response on your website.We are unable to reimburse Mr*** the $requested.
