I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I reject the offer made by the business.  I was NEVER contacted by the Travelodge property.  I reached out to them each time and was told I would called back and never was.  The amount that was reversed to my card was NEVER discussed and that is a complete lie that Travelodge discussed this with me.  I want a full refund for the issues and the disgusting room as well as the lack of any concern on behalf of the hotel.  I will not be satisfied with anything less than this and an apology for lying.

Hello Ms.[redacted],We spoke on numerous occasions and we were very applogic for the issues you may have encountered. You also spoke with our corporate office in which we all agreed on the discount listed above. If you have any other questions please contact the hotel directly. Thank you!

Review: This hotel has horrible customer service, when we informed them that the hotel was infested with cockroaches they did nothing until we told them to remove the refrigerator because there where four(4) cockroaches under the unit. The toilet clogged up and they had inadequate parking space. My sons woke up with bite marks on their bodies and we believe it was the roaches or bed bugs. The health department needs to look further into this complaint. We made a complaint with the state of CA, but they directed us to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: We believe that their site misinformed us as consumers when we stayed at this hotel.

Review: I reserved 4 rooms, each for 4 nights, and as the trip got closer I contacted the business to confirm the rooms were 'go-to-go'. The night befor our flight was to leave I contacted the business to confirm what time we could check in...but was told that they did not have 4 rooms reserved now, only 3. After many phone calls, the was able to speak with [redacted], very nice and helpful, and she was able to get us a 4th room (as we had reserved months ago).

Upon checking in the staff was very friendly and helpful. (This business should be extremely thankful for them, they werei the ONLY good thing there)

We had to ask for room changes because we had roaches in the rooms, toilets that would continue to overflow and entry ways that we were unable to lock or shut properly. We were only able to change 3 of the 4 rooms due to 'available rooms'. We got checked into the "new" rooms to only find that the one room's bathroom tub was leaking water around the footing of the tub, and the air/heating unit did not work. The next room had an EXTREMELY bad odor that caused me to have very bad headaches for hours. We AGAIN had to request help. They could not find any other rooms to transfer us to. When the maintenance man came to the room, he found the unit had been overheating and was causing a burning rubber odor. We attempted to make reservations at other hotels, all were booked due to the holidays, otherwise I would hav demanded a full refund. These rooms are not healthy to stay in.Desired Settlement: Refund of price charged.

Review: I was a guest at the travelodge international in anaheim, ca on september 03,2015. Upon arrival to the room I saw a bug on the wall in the restroom. I was unaware it was a bedbug as I had never seen one before. When we woke up in the morning I noticed a bug on my pillow. I killed it and blood spattered. After that I started seeing them everywhere, the carpet the sheets the bed spread. I had my husband put one in a box and we took it to the front desk. The employee said he was not surprised. I was not very happy. I asked to speak with a manager and I was informed there was no manager on duty. He then told me to come back after 8:00 am to speak with the front desk manager [redacted]. When I came back to see her I was informed she was not going to be in. So I spoke with inglacio and he had me fill out a complaint form explaining the problem. So I did so. I then asked him about some kind of compensation due to the fact I was unable to sleep a wink. I kept feeling things climbing on me. My friend that stayed with me noticed several welts on her back and under her arms. Also an absess on her finger. This then became a health and safety issue. I went back to the desk to speak with the employee, he acted unconcerned, to,d me to contact the manager. At that point I was pretty angry and decided it was better if I left the desk. As far as any monetary compensation I was told to contact Hotwire, that is the agency I booked the room through. They have a no refund rule. And when I phoned them, I explained my problem and was put on hold and disconnected.I feel I have done my part. The room was an infestation of bedbugs. I'm very concerned that other guests with small children will encounter the same problems. I am seeking compensation for my trouble. Thank youDesired Settlement: I would like a refund of room and tax charges, as well as compensation for my loss of sleep, and anguish due to the situation.

Response:

[redacted], this is [redacted] from the Travelodge International Inn, I'm responding to inform you that we received a corporate customer care for the same issue from [redacted] two days before she submitted this information with the Revdex.com. The case with our corporate office was resolved in 4 days with a full refund for her stay. What would be the next step in this situation?

Review: We stayed at Travelodge International Inn on Friday, January 10. We prepaid for the hotel through Hotwire. While staying there, our iPad was stolen from our locked room. Staff was notified and made no effort to help find the iPad (we were told we would need to call the next day to talk with the manager, when we would already be home and it would likely be impossible to track the thief). We insisted that some effort was made now but staff refused. Needless to say, the iPad was never recovered. Further, after calling the manager, we were told she'd "look into it and get back to us." It has been 10 days and she has not ever gotten back to us. Then, 4 days after returning home, mysterious charges totaling $234 appeared on my credit card. Since staff had been in our room after reporting the iPad stolen, and noted that the condition of the room was otherwise good, I knew this wasn't a charge for damages or cleaning. I called and staff insisted I was reading my bill wrong. I contacted my bank, and they agreed with me, noted that I had prepaid and verified that I had received a folio email from the hotel showing no bills, and they blocked the charge and future charges from Travelodge. Even more disappointing, I contacted Travelodge and their corporate office several times after and they continued to insist that I was mistaken. Finally, after several days, a staff member called and said that she had looked up my card number (I'm not sure how since I never gave it to her) and found that it had been hooked up to other rooms "erroneously." I was grateful someone finally knew what they were doing, unfortunately, it has now been 3 more days and the charges have not been reversed. Further, the corporate office simply stated that their is nothing they can do to correct any of these issues and that they would simply email the franchisee. She has not contacted me. In summary, between the stolen iPad and fraudulent charges, Travelodge is directly responsible for my loss of almost $1,000, but refuse to correctDesired Settlement: I originally just wanted help correcting the billing issue and an apology for the lack of service with regard to the stolen item. Now,after 4 calls to Travelodge, 3 to the corporate office, numerous emails and letters, however, I am considering legal action against Travelodge and the corporate office, unless they make an effort to make this situation right. I stay at hotels 20-30 times a year for business and pleasure, and have to say this was by far the worst experience I have ever had.
