I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I would like to reiterate that I did not cancel my tripJon refuses to mention that as an organizer he didn't provide additional transportation in order for the individual like myself to meet the rest of the group the following day after the next available flight was providedHe declined to mention that in this case it would be an additional cost from our pockets and this shouldn't be our responsibilityAs the organizer of a trip, he should have waited until we all have arrived and not have to track them down in a foreign country where we don't speak the language none the lessThere have been a few complaints about Jon that he forgot to addressPlease find attached documents stating their issues. Furthermore, I would like my money back in the amount of $especially for not being able to afford another means of transportation on top of all the necessities that I would need to purchase during my trip and him being imcompetent of accomodating to his groupHe shouldn't be able to run a business and neglected to mention he has never be responsible for this large number of peopleNo one foresaw this incident but he should be liable for his group despite this misfortune even though I had booked my own flightHe booked plenty of people's flights what gives him the right to feel it's ok to withhold responsibility regardless who was in charge of booking a flight I would appreciate any assistance you may provide in order for me to be reimbursed for $.

I am writing in response to a complaint filed by *** against my company, Travendly, which was assigned ID #***. I will keep this brief as my company, Travendly, assumes zero liability for the claim *** has put forth against us. *** *** had signed
up for a Greece tour with us with a starting date of Saturday, July *, and an ending date of Sunday, July **, 2016. Both the start and end of this particular tour was in Athens, Greece. Travendly provides packaged tours minus external airfare (meaning airfare getting to the final destination and airfare departing from the final destination). *** independently booked a Delta flight as follows: Carrier: Delta Flight number: *** Departure date: Friday, July *, Departure time: 7:30pm EDT Departure airport: JFK Arrival airport: ATH Unfortunately, there were significant delays on outbound flights from JFK airport on Friday, July *, and ***'s original flight ended up being rescheduled for the next day (Saturday, July *, 2016) On Saturday, July *, at 12:23pm EDT I received the following email from *** (please see attached screen shot for validity of this email) stating that she would like a refund from Travendly because of issues with her Delta flight
On Saturday, July *, at 1:50pm EDT I responded to *** ***'s email with the following (please see attached screen shot for validity of this sent email) clearing stating that it is not Travendly's responsibility (per our Terms and Conditions) to refund her whatsoever:
Per the complaint filed by *** *** she is requesting a full refund of the trip cost paid to Travendly LLC. Per Travendly LLC's Terms and Conditions
it clearly states Travendly assumes no liability whatsoever for (unfortunate) situations such as airplane delays etc(please see exact terminology on our Terms and Conditions page). In order to come on the trip *** filled out an application in which she agreed to the Terms and Conditions by submitting the form. Further, *** voluntarily removed herself from the trip on July *, which would constitute a "cancellation by the traveller", and per our Terms and Conditions, Travendly receives the right to not refund any costs paid (since it falls within days of departure). Hence Travendly LLC is not liable to refund *** any costs paid as she is requesting in her complaint It's unfortunate *** had a bad experience with her flight on Delta but you'll clearly see it's not Travendly LLC's responsibility to issue any refund for the reasons outlined above. We strongly suggest *** contact Delta directly to take this issue up further with them (the correct counter party). Please let me know if you need any more supporting material or further clarification on anything Jon J***

Travendly is a hoax. They claim their company prescreens people, but half my group were horrible people I didn't want to be trapped with for a single evening, let alone on a 9 day trip thousands of miles from home.

Out of the 5 people in the tour, one was a recovering alcoholic who broke their sobriety on the trip, another was an inconsiderate chain smoker who literally blew smoke all over us and threw another trip member's belongings off their hotel balcony, and another was a stuffy corporate attorney with all the charm of Stannis Baratheon. On the best day, I felt uncomfortable around these people. And on the worst, fear for my safety.

The tour guide, while nice, had little social awareness and kept taking pictures of us without our permission - all the while saying "Jon will be upset if I don't get him pictures for his website." Your travelers are not free marketing material. We paid thousands of dollars to be on this trip, and the notion that you're entitled to taking our picture (whether it's in your T&C or not) is repulsive.

I also caught bed bugs from one of the hotels we stayed at, and it cost me upwards of $2K to get rid of them and countless hours of therapy to be able to sleep at night again. When I brought this to Jon's attention and asked him to get a refund from that hotel for me or give me a credit for a future Travendly trip, he did not care at all. After I notified him the last hotel we stayed at had bed bugs, I saw on the tour guide's social media that they continued to have their travelers stay at that hotel.

I encourage you not to risk your hard earned money on a company that doesn't care who you go on a trip with, whether you have a good time, and whether the hotels you stay in are sanitary.

[redacted]   This email is in response to a follow up response/complaint from [redacted] from the original complaint outlined in the email sent to you on July **, 2016 (with the same ID #[redacted]).  I will be brief as I have already clearly outlined why [redacted] is not entitled to a refund but I will summarize two important points.  First, per Travendly's terms and conditions, we (Travendly LLC) is not liable for any (unfortunate) delays, cancellations, alterations etc. on any means of transportation (see see our Terms and Conditions as outlined in the prior email and stated on our website).  Second, [redacted] voluntarily removed herself from the trip, and again, per our terms and conditions (as outlined in the prior email and clearly stated on our website) Travendly is not required to issue her a refund (as her cancellation occurred within 45 days of departure).  In [redacted]'s most recent response she claims "I would like to reiterate that I did not cancel my trip".  [redacted] made a conscientious decision not to join the group in Greece - Travendly can not be held accountable for such a blatant act.   Lastly, I would like to point out that during the (unfortunate) air delay/rescheduling I sent an email to everyone on the rescheduled flight giving them some options to meet up with the group on the next day (please see attached image).  In addition to [redacted] there were 5 other participants on the exact same flight (that was originally rescheduled); those 5 participants took the rescheduled flight and met the group in Greece.  [redacted] decided not to take the rescheduled flight and stay in New York.   While it's truly unfortunate there was a delay in [redacted]'s originally scheduled flight it does not warrant her (for all the aforementioned reasons) to any sort of refund whatsoever.  I would strongly suggest [redacted] take up any further issues directly with Delta and perhaps she will be able to obtain a (small) flight voucher.  Again, I wish [redacted] the best of luck.   Jon
