Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Travis Credit Union has been very unfair and has made it very difficult to manage my account with themI have provided proof of full coverage recently and a representative stated I still have to pay for extra insuranceI will be refinancing with another institution as soon as I am qualified, or I may trade my vehicle for another and go through another InstitutionWith the money that I have spent on the extra insurance they have taken out, alongside the insurance I already pay, I could have paid towards the principal of my auto loanTCU was very uncommunicative and did not provide me with the correct information so I could show them I have full coverage on my vehicleNever have I ever experienced such dishonest and poor service from a financial institution.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Good afternoon,
The complaint in question refers to a collateral protection insurance (CPI) policy that Travis Credit Union took out against a vehicle we financed for **. [redacted]. We have informed **. [redacted] on multiple occasions that he needs to carry full coverage insurance for the vehicle...

throughout the life of the account to avoid the necessity of CPI. **. [redacted] provided proof of his insurance coverage after these conversations, however the policy was only liability coverage and he expressed to representatives that he would not pursue getting full coverage insurance on his vehicle due to the fact that he rarely drives it. At no time was paying extra ever discussed by **. [redacted].
We will not be waiving or reversing any accrued fees or lowering the interest rate of the account as requested.

We have spoken to [redacted] and a resolution has been met. Should anything further be needed, he can reach out to Travis Credit Union at [redacted].
