Review: We are an interior design firm located in Chicago Illinois. We contracted Travis to custom make4 dining room benches for our client. The cost for each bench was $297.50 and we send him a deposit of $1290 in good faith to get the product started.After repeated attempts, Travis no longer answers our calls and we do not know if he has made the benches. We believe he just took our money and has no intention of making them for us.Desired Settlement: We would like our full deposit of $1290 to be refunded to us.We have to go to another vendor to have the benches made per specifications. As we believe in giving up and coming designers an opportunity, we are very disappointed in this outcome.

Review: It's been the most stressful buying experience I've ever had. At this point, I can't call it a buying experience because I have paid [redacted] $1,325 and received NOTHING.

I found him on craigslist in August. I checked out his website and his work looked great. I sent [redacted] an email in August 2015 and he responded right away. Over the course of 2 weeks we were in touch over email to go over the specs for two dressers. He sent over a contract and drawings and everything seemed on the up and up. I paid 50% up front or $1,325. The delivery estimate was for Sept 25-Oct. 10. I began reaching out to [redacted] at the beginning of October to arrange the delivery. I never heard back. Sadly, at this point, that is the end of the story. I have contacted [redacted] by email, phone, and text MULTIPLE times and have yet to receive a single response. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. There is no other way to describe what he has done up to this point except to say he stole $1,325 from me.Desired Settlement: I either want a full refund of $1,325 or the delivery of the two dressers asap.

Review: Travis Hayes Furniture first failed to deliver a custom media console I ordered by the agreed upon date. Roughly a month after non-delivery, I requested my deposit back. Travis said he would refund me my deposit, but never sent a check. I have contacted him 5 times in 4 months in an attempt to get my deposit back. Each time my requests go unanswered, or he continues to promise reimbursement that he fails to fulfill.Desired Settlement: I want my $415 deposit returned to me, immediately. Travis uses Square for transactions, I want him to send me the money to my cell phone number via Square for the full amount.

Review: Travis promised delivery of the furniture I ordered on multiple occasions but never showed up. When I said I would come by his shop to pick it up he texted me an hour before I was scheduled to arrive and said he would not be able to give me my furniture and would refund my deposit, which he never did. He lies over and over again, takes people's money, and never provides the product they ordered. It's a scam.Desired Settlement: Refund my deposit, and stop scamming other customers.

Review: Paid for a custom-made piece of furniture on 7/15/15. Estimated completion was 8/10-8/25. Contacted owner multiple times for updates on status. Have been told many times over that the piece is "ready to be picked up" then we would schedule a time, and he would flake. Then he told us he would deliver the piece, and he never arrived. We have attempted to contact him multiple times, and he now no longer responds. It's almost 5 months past our piece being needed to have been completed.Desired Settlement: Refund for our $350 deposit + interest.

Review: As everyone on yelp will attest to Travis Hayes lies and manipulates via email and Internet fraud. He has lied and changed delivery dates on me 8 times and now is ignoring every form of communication and hasn't delivered the furniture I paid for 2 months ago. He is a fake store front that lies about his product and lies about when he will bring it to you. He has been kicked off etsy, now commits his fraud through [redacted] and email and phone. I don't even know if he is real or his store his real. I think he's imaginary and is a ghost that is manipulating dozens of people for tens of thousands of dollars.
