Traxxas is a very honest and caring company! In early I purchased a Slash 4xRC truck from my local hobby shop and fell in love with the thingIn June I attended the X-Games in Austin and took my RC truck with me since I was camping there and knew it'd be a good place to drive itI actually learned after I arrived that Traxxas was sponsoring the X-Games and had a merchandise truck there to purchase RC carsI visited the truck where I met Ed, I then purchased a more powerful Lipo battery for my truck to make it go faster, Ed even gave me a discount because my prepaid card didn't have the funds to pay for the entire transaction! Needless to say, that thing hauled butt at that point and I was thrilledShortly after I purchased the battery, my RC car started acting funnyWhile walking back to camp driving it I ran across Ed(he was staying in an RV right next to my camp site), he asked me how it was going and if I liked itI told him about it shutting down after driving it for a short amount of time and he immediately offered to help me even though he wasn't even working at that timeEd offered to take my car back to the truck and check it out for me, I complied and went to pick up my RC later that day from the merchandise truckI was expecting a summary like "You're going to need a new motor, which costs $120", or something along those linesI was WRONG, Ed actually UPGRADED the chip inside the truck to a Velineon VXL-3s for FREEHe also noticed that I had broken a arm that connected to a wheel at some point and fixed that for FREEEd was a great example of how every employee should treat their customers, I was blown awayI ran into Ed multiple times after that and he asked me how it was running every time to make sure I was satisfiedThank you Ed, and Traxxas!
