Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2016/02/15) */
I received a call from Mrs. [redacted] regarding a Sheetrock ceiling repair job. I asked her has the roof been repaired, before we repair the ceiling. She advised it had not been repaired. She advised the ceiling had been repaired once before. I...

advised the previous contractor should have never repaired the ceiling before repairing the roof, because now she will have to pay for the ceiling to be repaired twice. I called Mrs. [redacted] on 1/08/16 the day we agreed to look at the roof. My crew was extremely busy during that time period, so I decided to repair the roof while we were there. I called Mrs. [redacted] following the repair and advised her I repaired the roof for her, while we were there. She was so thankful for the repair, and advised she would pay for the repair on the weekend of Jan. 16. She even stated "You will get all your money" I agreed to wait until then for payment. I texted her on 1/15/16 to confirm payment, and repair for the ceiling on the 16th. She responded by text saying "No". I have text messages proving this. I called Mrs. [redacted] several times following the 15th, to no avail.
Mrs. [redacted] received a service, agreed to pay for it, and is refusing to pay for it. I feel my company has been taken advantage of by Mrs. [redacted].
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 18, 2016/02/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In regards to Triad Renovation Construction, bottom line is that, Mr.J[redacted] did in fact as he just mentioned decided to repair my roof without any authorization and he took it upon himself to do so. I had no clue or idea he was going to repair my roof. Mr. J[redacted] only asked, to let him look at my roof. Mr J[redacted] and his business was arbitrary in doing the work without prior approval. I feel I was put on the spot and taken advantage of by a person which I have never met and afterwards to be asked to pay him over a $1,000. and do not have a clue what was done to my home because no one was there if & when work was done.
Thank you.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 20, 2016/02/24) */
My Company decided to do the work for Ms. [redacted] because her ceiling had collapsed. We where extremely busy at the time, therefore we would not be able to return to the her home for two weeks. So we went against logical thinking, and repaired the roof preventing any further damage to her home. The ceiling in her garage had already collapsed, and the same was going to happen to the other problem area's in her home. We did the work for Mrs. [redacted] because she seemed so kind on the phone, and she was referred by a trusted family member. Ms. [redacted] made me feel completely comfortable on a phone conversation following the repair by saying "You will get all your money!" But when the date arrived for her to make payment, she stopped answering the phone, and filed a complaint with Revdex.com. Again I feel that my company has been taken full advantage of because Mrs. [redacted] has a repaired roof, and no further damage to her home for free.
