TRCI Plus

I set up an appointment with TRCI to clean and inspect the chimney and fireplace in my new home. We live 20 minutes outside of Evansville so I was told that they wouldn't be able to schedule me for over a month out. Though I hated to wait that long I agreed and scheduled the appointment. After waiting a month for the appointment, I received a phone call four days before the appointment and was told that they were cancelling my appointment due to weather. I was understanding that we had snow, but expected that the appointment would be rescheduled. I was told that they would not reschedule and that I needed to find someone else unless I wanted to pay a $75 travel charge. This was not discussed when I originally set up my appointment a month earlier. I asked that they consider a reduced rate for the travel charge due to the fact that I have already been waiting a month for my appointment only to have them cancel. I was told that she couldn't make that decision and would have to talk to a manager about it. I asked that she did and to please call me back. I have received no call. I feel that this was handled very unprofessionally. If you don't serve an area less than 20 minutes outside of the corporate limits of Evansville, then why did you schedule an appointment and allow me to wait a month? I am extremely frustrated and will make sure that others know that TRCI is not a reputable company.

Had them come out to get an estimate and was told I would have it in 2 days. 2 weeks after I called to see about my estimate and was told I'm not a priority. Called 2 weeks after that and was told they will not be providing an estimate. I guess unless you have a million dollar home they don't care about your mold problems nor you. Rude, disrespectful, borderline hateful is the best way to describe the women that answer the phone and I told her everything that happened to me.
