Similar to the other complaints against this organization….My 89 year old mother is being targeted every couple of months to provide " voluntary " dues so that they can fight on her behalf for supposed benefits from Social Security. They have misrepresented to her that she is about to receive $5,000 and that she just needs to keep updating her address so they can locate her to give her the money. An interesting tactic is that they send forms always asking you to decide how you would like the money to be distributed to you. I tried to contact the organization, but just got a recording. Tried to verify information provided via phone numbers that were disconnected (supposedly contacts in states where the organization was legally registered as an advocacy group entitled to solicit funds.
